Winterset RV Resort

The park models/RV sites are spacious and attractively landscaped. The management and maintenance teams have only our best interest in mind, and keep the park clean, well groomed and secure. One of the many amenities is a temperature controlled pool which overlooks beautiful Frog Creek, home of many colorful birds and wildflowers. The park also offers shuffleboard, tennis, horseshoes, bocci ball, and kayaks and a paddleboat for use. The clubhouse provides an air conditioned spot where friends gather to play games, have dances, enjoy meals, attend Sunday morning worship services and mid-week Bible Study, play pool or read in the comfort of the library. We've enjoyed living here in this peaceful surrounding near Manatee County's several parks and wildlife preserves. The park truly offers a "family atmosphere away from home".

We've been staying at the Winterset Campground (it's not a "trailer park") for the last 2 months. The facilities are great, the view of the river is excellent and we have a great rec room , tennis court, pickle ball court, horse shoe, shuffle board, exercise room and the management is very accommodating. We highly recommend it. .
