The Goddard School of Owasso

Do NOT take your child(ren) here. I was an employee for almost a year and I can honestly say that that this facility should be shut down. The owner allows underage drinking that involves her daughter and other employees, which is very unprofessional and is only present for about three hours of the day. The ratio is never correct in the classroom and the infant teachers heat bottles in the microwaves.



A lead teacher got aggressive with a child and threw a ball at a child and as I told a supervisor they moved her to a different classroom and that was it. She also comes in hungover at least twice a week and all supervisors are aware of the situation. The infant teachers ignore the infants and would stick them outside so they wouldn't have to hear them cry! It was horrific working here very unprofessional and such a scam. The teachers are hardly allowed to go to the bathroom and the owner and supervisors sneak by each time Goddard or DHS comes to visit. Beware of this daycare.

this has been the BEST place to take my daughter!! My husband worked for DHS as a child investigator and our standards were sky high...so high I was sure we would never find a place that met all our expectations. BUT the Goddard School of Owasso made the decision easy. Not only is the school incredibly clean and well organized but the teachers are one of a kind! My daughter (13 months) goes to anyone there with open arms! we are greeted and spoken to like we are part of their family and anyone that works there will call your child by their name. We will be so sad the day we have to leave Goddard but I would tell anyone send their children there!

Very high staff turnover. If you are considering daycares, keep looking, this isn't it.

I agree with 1Parent! When we started back in 2009, it was very different. The current director is very nice, (we've never had any problems with her) and the teachers we have had, are very good, but they don't seem to get a lot of support from the administration. You NEVER see Tom and Marta anymore. There is a lot of turn over with the staff. Overall, it's okay but nothing makes this place stand out among it's competitors.

My son went to this school for two years. When the new director took over in 2011, the school really went downhill. There are too many kids in one classroom (only the 3 and up classes. Below 3 the classes are a good size) and there is a fairly high turnover rate. The owners, Tom and Marta, are friendly and know every parent and child by name, but after you've been in this school for a certain period of time you start to realize that they care about the money the parents are bringing in... not the children. Overall, my son learned a lot, but in the end I was disappointed in the administration of this school.

This is the best learning environment for children you could ask for. This is a brand new facility with the best staff ANYWHERE! The owners Tom and Marta and director Angela know each and every student and their parents. They are very welcoming, caring and dedicated to their students. My daughter is in the 3 year old class and cannot stop talking about how much she loves her new school and her teacher, Mrs. Alyson. Goddard Schools have exceptionally high standards when it comes to the education and well-being of the children that attend. They teach the children computers, sign language, science, even yoga. If you are looking for a top notch preschool that focuses on making education fun while giving your children the skills and knowledge they'll need to be ahead of the game for kindergarten, this is THE place. I have been looking for a preschool, not a daycare, for over a year that would give my daughter the education and experiences that she deserves. I finally found it with Goddard. We love this school.
