Kadidia is the best braider my family has had. She is kind, accomodating, fast and good at what she does. You can't go wrong by having your hair braided by Kadidia.

We put a one only because we could not put a Zero. When we went for the consultation we were excited about the appt. Not knowing what nightmare we were gonna walk into. The stylist promised to call the day before the appt to confirm THAT DID NOT Happen. We start calling to let her know we were on our way the day of the appt NO ANSWER. She finally answers the alternate number almost an hour after my scheduled appt time. She sends someone else to start my hair, two hours after my initial appt time. She gets there 5 after my schedule appt and does a terrible terrible job. You can’t tell if they are micros or box braids. She then chops off half the length. When questioned they become argumentative and combative. Not only has the day been wasted, our energy and money. My mom who is a licensed cosmetologist instructor was challenged as to her ability and knowledge. We could not be more outraged. Is this the way you treat people now and put hundred dollar price tags on it and call it right. We think not.

I Must Say I Have Had My Hair Braided By Many People But Ms.Kadaia Is The Best I Have Had Yet! She Was Very Professional, Very Welcoming, Had A Quiet Working Enviroment, Worked At A Fast Pace But Didn't Rush The Job! My Hair Looks Phenomenal, Every Strand In Place; I Might Add! I Highly Recommend Her Services

Professionalism is huge thing for me, and I can honestly say that found it at this place. Not only is she talented, Ms. Kadidia was very professional and welcoming. In all of the years of braiding my hair, getting my hair braided by Ms. Kadidia was the best decision that I made! My braids are wonderful!

I had hair short than 1 inch...

I'm so grateful that I found Kadidia! She was so fast at Braiding, yet she didn't do a rush job! My hair is so short that I thought no one could braid it. She didn't hurt me and I'm very tender headed. She also made sure I was comfortable the entire time. My hair was full and each braid was in perfect unity with the next! I've never had my hair braided so beautifully! I feel so proud that I decided to go natural now that I've found Tombouctou African Hair Braiding! Thanks Kadidia. Now I'm so fly!

I began my search for someone to braid my hair by tapping people on the shoulders and asking "who braided your hair?" After my search took me to dead ends with most people vacationing and coming to Orlando with their hair already done, I decided to try the web. Thank goodness for reviews! I called Kadidia, and just as I read, she was very nice. She made room for me to come the following day and also provided me with a Black family owned and operated beauty supply store to make my purchase.

M & M Beauty Supply is a one stop shop! They have EVERYTHING you need, Ask for Annette, tell her Dawn said hello :-)

Kadidia called me to confirm my appointment the night before and on the day of my appointment, the client ahead of me was running a little over, so she gave me a courtesy call to ask me not to come at 12 but to come at 1:00 instead. I was impressed! Most stylist will have you show up and play the waiting game. Not Kadidia! Upon looking at the human wet and wavy hair I purchased she knew immediately what hair style would look great with that hair, and my face. She took me to her website and showed me the Tree Braid style, I liked that much better than what I was planning to get. Her home salon was comfy as we talked and watched Lifetime as she braided my hair. In about 4 hours I was a new woman. Absolutely beautiful and ready for my cruise!

Last week I returned for a second braid style, this time I have a side part, three layer, straight back style, very pretty as well. I am so happy to have found Tombouctou, Kadidia is a God send. I can't wait to go back and try a new look! When you call to make your appointment, tell her Dawn said "Hey Girrrll!" and that I will see her soon!

:-)

Thanks,

Dawn T.

I thought that it would be impossible to find an excellent African braider at a reasonable price. However, Kadidia was certainly heaven sent and fulfilled my requirements and lived up to all expectations. She was kind and warm, flexible, very reasonably priced and most of all did EXCELLENT work. Since I haven't had my hair braided in years, I was concerned that the braids would cause my head to hurt, however this was not an issue with Kadidia yet her work was of the highest quality. I will certainly return to Kadidia when I want to get my hair braided again and I enjoyed the extra bonus of being able to learn about Mali and African culture.
