No one likes creditors. None of what has been said previously happened to me. I needed to pay them quickly and have a reciept because I was trying to get a new apartment since I moved.
I called once and they didn't answer, called again after a few minutes and got a very polite girl on the phone right away. I paid the debt and she sent me the reciept the way I asked and even asked me if I needed further confirmation that she may have been able to provide.

Remember: these people deal with angry voices all day. Treating them with calmness and being kind can go a long way.

This is by far the most unprofessional debt collection agency I have ever spoken to. I work with debt collectors every day. I was trying to help a client resolve a debt. That is right he was calling make an arrangement. The customer service representative was extremely rude and unprofessional and hung up on us several times. I have submitted a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. When you are calling to let the company know you are paying your debt this week and yet the RUDE very Unprofessional Operator should be more accommodatingredients if they want their money. And when I asked for a supervisor, this woman just kept hanging up on me. Please anyone who has problems the only way to get results is by reporting this company.

Spoke with some woman name Allyison/Allison and she was very rude and condescending. I was genuinely calling to resolve a debt and she was being very snobby and refused to work out a monthly payment arrangement with me. By far the rudest and unprofessional customer service worker I have ever encountered. She informed me she would be turning it over and not helping me before hanging up on me.

Unlike the usual "they are hounding me for money I owe blah blah blah reviews" I actually paid my debt in full the moment I found out I had an account with them. My issue is their customer service when I called for proof of the original debt. I was told to write to a "verification" department with NO turn around time NO person of contact NOTHING at all. And when it was obvious this young lady had no idea what she was speaking of things took an even worse turn. I was told there was no supervisor. She refused to give me her name. She hung up on me. When I called back to ask for someone else I was told to call back a manager would be in later. When I asked who a manager would be she would not give me an answer. How can I get anything done with NO point of contact? This place is really rude.

I sincerely hope someone goes and pays them a visit. I am surprised he's still alive considering what a SOB he is and how he is ruining peoples lives by assigning fraudulent debt.

I have one word to describe this group "IGNORANT". They began to call me on a $72.00 debt every the day promptly at 8am. I responded to their calls advising them that was a misunderstanding and to call the leasing office and they would back up my statement. The rude collector Nicole Moss said "Its your debt you call or pay, I dont have time for excuses".



I then took it upon myself to call my former land lord and he advised me that it was in fact an error and he would correct it. I ask if he mind a three way call to Southern Management Systems to correct the matter. We called and they said they would remove me and update my credit report. The calls stopped for all of two days and they again began calling me about the same matter.



It took me sending them a cease & desist letter & threatening legal action to get them to stop calling me & update my credit report. As I said early on in my review "IGNORANT" is the only word to describe Southern Management Systems.
