Flavors

This place was awesome. It's small and the decor is pretty nice, although that doesn't really sway me when I think of a restaraunt, I just want good food, a good price and good service. This place had all those in spades. The manager/owner was probably the nicest guy out there, he walked around, talked to everyone, he came over to our table and chit chatted with our kids ( aged 7, 5 and 2). One of my sons didn't like the yogurt drink my wife ordered and the guy just brought him out something different, no charge. He was clearly interested in making sure each of his customers was having a great time and enjoying the experience. I ordered the lamb korma (mild) and it was delicious. My wife had the chicken korma (extra spicy) and she loved it. The kids tend not to like spicy food and we mentioned that so they made their chicken tiki marsala with little spice but still full flavored...the kids loved it, especially the naan bread. We didn't sample any of the beer or wine, but they had kingfisher on the beer list and that is a pretty dang good beer, if you like those types. After the dinner, the manager brought out indian "pancakes" which were like round donut holes in a syrup...it was really good and the kids liked it but by that time we were stuffed. Again, this was free of charge. They have a buffet at lunch time and I'm waiting for an opportunity when I can get a long lunch break and take my wife back there, because I want to try everything they have. You will not be disappointed by the food or service, it was a great place and we will be going back.
