Mount Vernon Apartments

Bed bug infested and they know and tell you to light cancels to kill them! Mold infested!! There is mold everywhere and they just paint over it. Rude manegment . sewer problems. The water is off all the time due to sewer problems. Human feces comes up through the tub all the time! The smell in halls are really bad. Police are always hear, for drug and domestic abuse.no matter what you will not get ur deposit back. Human feces sprays out the laundry room to the ground out back and and is a regular problem.

They'll give you a bad reference saying your loud and don't pay rent on time I was never late not once that ruiened a lot of thing for me they are also infested omg and stink badly I will never recommend anyone there

Im a current resident of mt vernon.... they have known about the problem in my apt for several months now, they have done nothing. Currently seeking legal advice so i can terminate my least and get out of these HORRIBLE apts... mu advice, DNT MOVE IN!!

Manager very quick to approve move-in, but just prior to move-in, we discovered through another tenant that this place has bed bugs! This was not disclosed and various tenants confirmed bed bug infestation that apparently is not being addressed. We did not move in (thank goodness) and now mgmt refuses to return deposit although we did not sign a rental agreement as yet. We noticed dumpsters full of furniture, and this is probably why. Bedbugs invade everything a person owns and are a health hazard. These people will be reported to the Oklahoma County Health Department, as well as all other authorities and media if our deposit is not returned promptly. At the very least, the presence of bed bugs should be disclosed to prospective tenants and not denied. The public needs to know. DO NOT rent at this place where they deny even having bed bugs!!!

To say that they get the job done is as far from the truth as one can get. Filled out a work order a month ago for my sewage damaged bathroom ceiling and still they have not done anything about it. The carpets are nasty, smell bad, and were not cleaned before I moved in. I paid for covered parking and there was always someone else parked in my spot and guess what? They didn't even have a parking sticker.I have to keep my thermostat at 90 in the winter and still my apartment is freezing. Other residents are fighting all the time and playing loud music at all hours. I can't wait until my lease is up! Steer clear of these apartments.

Mount Vernon Apartments is 1 of the best apartments complex I have seen in a while. With new ownership it has been great.They are working really hard to make this a better place to live. I have lived here for over 3 years and it is the best it has ever been. It is really nice and quite. And the employees get the job done. Ask to have something done and it gets done in a very timely matter. If you are looking for a apartment Mount Vernon is the place to start looking.
