First Med Urgent Care

Front clerk was stuffing her mouth with food when I walked in, had crumbs all over her face. Asked to insure they were in network and I was told they couldn't tell me that, that I had to check with my insurance company myself. I have been to plenty of health facilities that can tell you if they take your plan or not. Felt that she was too lazy to check. Could be wrong, but all the other places I have been to in the past year have been more than able to tell me if they were in my network for coverage or not. Very unprofessional and not very courteous!

Made me wait an hour told me my insurance wouldn't run. Went down the street to Access Med and it went right through. Lazy receptionist with a tattoo hanging out of her open shirt. I should have known right when I saw trash she was and left. Go somewhere else.

I had a terrific experience at FirstMed. The office staff was polite and curteous and the wait was very short. The doctor (Dr. LaBahn) took time to listen to me and asked enough questions to only run tests that were absolutely necessary, not wasting my time or money on excessive tests. I highly recommend this facility and appreciate their conscientiousness and cost concerns on my behalf.
