Red Salon

I went to Red Salon after having my hair colored over at Panopoulos Salon East Lansing. Clare did a wonderful cut but my MAIN REASON was to get a highlight. I knew when she said they didn't have ANY hairdryers I should have walked out the door. But Clare said there products they use heat in the foil and no need to be put under dryer. Well, I have never had such a bad color in all my years. I had reds, crap browns, one side of head zero color totally missed. I looked better before I went in and it took 2.5 hours! So, I went to see Bianca. She and her son worked on this disaster of a color. Now I do have to go back again and them maybe by the 3rd time the damage and the color I requested will be back on track. My God all I wanted was a blonde highlight. They are really nice - 65.00 for color - normal price. Anyways, in a situation which you feel someone really goofed up - go to them. At least they can tell you the truth and yes is may take a couple sessions to fix. Wendy

I've gotten the best pedicures ever at Salon Red. The young lady puts u at ease, and helps you relax. I love that the décor matches down to the gloves the ladies were. Upon arrival you are greeted by name, offered water, coffee or wine. It is definitely a salon I patronize and continue to go.

I've been going to this Salon for over a year and am very satisfied w/my service. I've had color and extensions done. I always get lots of compliments on my hair. I absolutely love my Stylist Bianca!!

My daughter had her 8th princess party at Salon Red. Her and her girlfriends had a wonderful time. It was a wonderful experience. Now my oldest daughter wants to have her's there too.

I would like to say im the owner of salon red and if there is anything that can be done to fix anything to make our clients happy we are willing to do if any situations thats have occured I OR ANY OF MY professional stylists will fix or make the situation better.. we cant make everyone happy on the design its different preference but its a trendy salon not just a salon like others.. if the reviews are true clients that were unhappy please let us do what we can to learn from anything weve done wrong or good.. we take the positive and negative and will use that to help serve everyone better.. if u dont like a person on a personal level thats different. Or a stylist that has hard feelings.. please let us show you ourselves that we can bring the star out in you and make you happy thank u.. please call anytime ask for BIANCA and I WILL be happy to help you in anyway...

i love salon red. ive been going there ever since they opened with my daughter. while my daughter gets her crazy hair extensions with different colors, i go for a more subtle look. either way we both leave happy. i heard about salon red by listening to my daughters radio station. i love their promotion because it is different and catches my ear. its not an automated voice it is the actual staff at salon red. salon red even styled J WOWW's hair from jersey shore! this is an amazing salon!!!!

Salon red is a great place to go and have an amazing experience! i get my hair done there every month. i always leave with the best hair color and style. i also get spray tans and pedicures there. their prices are great for the work they do!

I have been to Salon Red three times and each time I've seen Tiffany because I was so impressed with her service the first time. I love my cut and highlights! The salon is VERY clean and that also impressed me. All of the staff was very personable and polite. However the owner, who I met was very rude. She never seemed to have a smile on her face or treat anyone (including her staff) with much respect. She seemed very inexperienced based on her disrespectful actions. I would reccommend anyone to go to Salon Red, however I would avoid owner.

I have been to salon red on many occasions and I have enjoyed my experience. I recommend salon red to any of my friends and family and anyone who is trying to find a new salon.. The stylists are very friendly and knowledgable. They answered all the questions I had cause I was worried about using a new color line but my color turned out exactly as I wanted..

I have gone to Salon Red twice. As if their chessy, dumb commercials on 97.5 don't say enough, I will tell you my experience. The first time I wanted to see about their extensions....the owner, Bianca, seemed very inexperienced and when I asked her about her qualifications for doing hair extensions (since I have found out why no one in Lansing does them is because you have to take a special class and get a certificate, etc.) she got kind of defensive which I found odd. They were expensive and I did not trust her, so I did not get them. I decided to try them again to get my hair highlighted and cut! bad idea! They are very unprofessional. They are gossipy, even in front of clients and act like they are better then everyone else. I think they are all very young and inexperienced. And EXPENSIVE!! The girl who did my hair did not even round brush...that is like a hair styling basic and if you do not know how to do that you should not be doing hair!! I was also very unsatisfied with the color! Overall I would not reccomend this place, inexperienced and unprofessional!
