Progress West Hospital

I wouldn't bring my dog here, actually, I wouldn't even bring a rat to this hospital. ER doc was clueless, kept telling me I needed emergency surgery but I insisted on getting a 2nd opinion. They tried telling me I couldn't leave, is this prison or rehab? Finally got out of there, got my 2nd opinion and wasn't emergent at all! When I did leave via wheelchair, several nurses were just standing there and wouldn't even open the door for me, I couldn't believe it! Guess they had low census and needed my money, I would NEVER return even if someone payed me!

I was brought into emergency at Progress West, then admitted to the hospital. I've been here 5 days and I've never been more impressed with a hospital in general. The nurses, tech, doctors, dining, even housekeeping has all been great. Everything is geared toward the patient ... even the dining schedule -- you set your own time to eat and your food is prepared fresh, served hot and everything I had was near gourmet quality. No one ever WANTS to be in a hospital, but if asked ... I would highly recommend this one.
