General Info
The point of my website I’m starting here at www.shellyanimals.com is, that I want to spotlight some great animal rescues & sanctuaries, through exposure! I want to their names out there, through the website, on search engines, FB, Instagram, Twitter & good old, word of mouth! These small rescues don't always get noticed by the public, especially senior & special needs & even though so many of these tiny rescues & sanctuaries just truly throw their whole heart & soul into it! For the website, I just picked 10 rescues! A number that I could do justice to. I didn’t ask them to audition or fill out forms! They never saw me coming; I checked them out on their websites & fb/instagram. They all were doing right by these animals; they were taking them to heart & sometimes it was breaking their heart! They were doing the late nights, the medical, the getting attached & the letting go, the financial & everything else in rescue, that makes you the crazy animal person when you do it, trust me I know! I’m not asking the rescues for anything, the rescues do enough! So the rescues lose nothing & they shouldn’t, in case anyones worried, at this point, in my way too long message! They do so much for these animals everyday! EVERY one of us, owe them something, to help with all of the emotional & financial tolls, that they are paying daily. They need our help, in the form of donations, volunteers, fosters, adoptions, Amazon Smile, wishlist items, or start a Facebook or Go Fund Me fundraiser! Not necessarily in that order! It’s more than a matter of the heart, it’s a matter of the soul! You gotta feel it! Once we've got these great rescues pages up (& I’m getting there!) , please go to their websites & Facebook pages, to adopt, foster, volunteer & donate (or any one of the other things that I’ve put up there) ! It's a win win & so many animals lives will be happier for it! (and if your worried about adopting a senior or special needs animal, I rescued my Sassy, she’s my profile pic, last year at 9 years old! She’s blind, so she ticked both of those boxes! The people I rescued her from in the parking lot told me she never played & she was an old lady who did nothing. Now she plays like a puppy & she’s the happiest girl, as well as, my velcro dog! Don’t let age or disability stop you! You might find your animal soul mate! In addition, we plan to cover some other issues, with our blog & have an online store, so stay with us, while we build! Much love, laughs & luck! Shelly & Sassy
