Krua Thai Restaurant

I love this place...Everything I get my food its always hot and fresh. I do agree that is one of the better thai restaurants in North Hollywood.

I don't know why my friend likes this place because THE FOOD IS TERRIBLE!!!! The chicken is boiled first and then added to the rest of the ingredients, thus having no flavor. The Pad Thai has no taste to it. Every time I go the food tastes slightly burnt and greasy. This is the third and last time I will eat their food. If you want good Thai food, go to Khao Thai of Roscoe Blvd in Panorama City.

I love the food and keep coming back, despite the fact that service is fair to indifferent. I usually order the basics: Pad Thai, Satay, and a cold Thai Iced Tea. I'm afraid to order anything else because 1) I'm not sure what I'm getting, 2) the young ladies who work here aren't very helpful to farang (non-Thais) and 3) I'm afraid something will be too hot. It draws Thais so that indicates that the food is authentic and delicious. Parking is attrocious around lunch time, a little bit better for an evening meal. The Pad Thai contains all the things that made you fall in love with it at first: crunchy peanuts, lime, and bean sprouts that you mix in according to your tastes. The peanut butter dipping sauce for the Satay is one of the better ones I've had. (So often at some Thai restaurants it's watery or greasy.)



My girlfriend likes spicy, the hotter the better, and she's never disappointed. Her favorite is the mee krob. You can have them tone it down, if you wish.
