Oral Cancer Screening
Oral cancer claims more than 50,000 lives each year, often because cases aren’t diagnosed until the disease has reached the more advanced stages. Dr. Huseman has been trained to detect the earliest signs of oral cancer, and he’ll perform a quick yet thorough screening during your routine checkups. If he finds anything worrisome, like slow-healing sores or suspicious lumps, he’ll arrange for the appropriate specialist to get you a proper diagnosis.

Teeth Cleaning
Once your child turns one year old, or their first tooth peeks through their gums, you should start bringing them in for a dental checkup every six months. These visits give Dr. Huseman the chance to closely monitor your little one’s developing teeth and jaw, and if he finds a potential problem, he can work to address it as early and conservatively as possible. As your child grows older, we can also add professional teeth cleanings to these appointments.
Fluoride Treatment
Children’s teeth are particularly susceptible to decay; not only do they often eat more sugary snacks than they should, but they might still be learning how to correctly brush and floss. To keep their tooth enamel strong and healthy, we can apply topical fluoride treatments as part of their cleanings. This mineral has been shown to strengthen the teeth, and it can even benefit a child’s adult teeth before they even start coming in! Our fluoride treatments take just a few minutes, but the cavity protection can last until the next checkup.
Dental Sealants
Deep pits and grooves in back teeth allow bacteria and food particles to hide and cause decay. One of our most popular family dentistry services is dental sealants. Sealants are impenetrable physical barriers that protect molar and premolar chewing surfaces. We highly recommend sealants for children who often need extra cavity protection.

Resin Composite
Dr. Huseman uses fillings to protect teeth that may have undergone cavity treatments or root canals. Fillings are made up of different types of materials, but at Noble Creek Family Dentistry, we mostly use tooth-colored composite resins.
Veneers
You don’t have to settle for an imperfect smile! Porcelain veneers are a terrific cosmetic solution to a variety of dental problems. The ultrathin shells are custom made to create a natural tooth appearance and are then bonded permanently to your prepared teeth. Porcelain veneers are durable, stain-resistant, and long-lasting. In addition, gum tissue tolerates porcelain very well.
Crowns
When having a physical impression taken, it can be very uncomfortable to have to hold the unpleasant tasting material in your mouth for a long time. That’s why we prefer using digital scans instead. We can capture all the information we need to design a crown or another restoration with a simple scan of your teeth. Since digital impressions tend to be more accurate than physical ones, you’re more likely to get a restoration that fits properly the first time.
Bridges
If you need to replace several missing teeth in a row, we can secure a dental bridge onto two implants – one placed at each end of the gap. With an implant bridge, you get a set of replacement teeth that feel more secure and last longer than a traditional bridge – all without compromising your existing dental structure.
Dental Bonding
As a quicker and more affordable alternative to veneers, cosmetic dental bonding is perfect for repairing minor chips or cracks in a tooth. It can also close small yet noticeable gap between the teeth or cover stains that don’t seem to respond to whitening treatments. All we need to do is custom-shade a bit of composite resin (which we also use for tooth-colored fillings) and sculpt it over the flaw in question. Once we’ve hardened the resin into place, it should be virtually indistinguishable from your natural enamel.

Root Canal Treatment

The main difference is that, with pulp therapy, we focus on preserving as much healthy tissue as we can to avoid impacting the tooth’s development.
