DO NOT HIRE RAY ADLER AS YOUR ...

DO NOT HIRE RAY ADLER AS YOUR ATTORNEY! This man has cost me over $5000 in only 6 months; and it was all just for communication with the other party. We never went to court. He charged me multiple times for the same thing, tried charging me for things that he never filed, and never answered my questions. He was very rude and told me to just be nice to the other party and they'll be nice in return. He is a waste of time and money, an absolute joke! My new attorney settled everything and won my case a month after I left Adler. Please find a different attorney to fight your battles.

Child Custody and Visitation
In Indiana, a grandparent may seek visitation rights if the child’s parent is deceased, if the marriage of the child’s parents has been dissolved in Indiana, or if the child was born out of wedlock and paternity has been established. A proceeding for grandparentâ€™s visitation begins by the filing of a petition in the county in which the child resides or the county having jurisdiction over the dissolution of the parents’ marriage.
Adoption
Indiana law also requires the completion of a home study by a licensed child placement agency. In the case of stepparent adoption, the adoptive parents may petition the Court to waive the home study and submit to a background check only.
Premarital Agreement
A pre-nuptial agreement (or ante nuptial agreement) functions as a contract between two people, and is executed in contemplation of marriage. The law governing these agreements is contained within the Uniform Premarital Agreement Act, which has been adopted by the State of Indiana. A valid pre-nuptial agreement must be in writing and signed by both parties. No consideration is required, and the agreement becomes effective upon marriage.

Should you decide you want a divorce, a petition for dissolution of marriage may be subsequently filed, and the court may hold a final dissolution hearing anytime after sixty (60) days from the date of the filing the first petition have passed.
