Velocity - Long Distance And Local Moving Company

I've used Velocity Moving three times. Every time they were professional and careful with my belongings. They wrapped everything with blankets and plastic wrap then carefully unwrapped it - not a scratch on anything. They were patient while I figured out where the furniture would go and placed it just right.



I will use them again and refer them every chance I get.

Velocity Moving helped me and my boyfriend to move to our new apartment last weekend and they did a great job. They did not waste any time and did not hurt our furniture or our apartments. They amazed us at the bulky or heavy items that they carried down with such ease. Thank you Mark and team!

It was our 2nd move within 6 months, and we just came off having the worst moving experience with the previous company. Robby, Adrian, and Gerardo, were on time, efficient, and did an amazing job. They ware moving furniture with the care that it was their own, in a few cases they pointed our certain scratches and covered the furniture to ensure it was moved safely as possible.



To give you an idea of how efficient these guys were, my previous move was completed in 8 hours with 4 guys, this was 3 guys in 5 hours. When hiring movers time is of the essence and I really appreciated that they made the most of the time keeping my costs down. I've learned with movers, it's better to pay a little more but have the peace of mind you're belongings are being moved care vs looking to save a buck. Velocity Moving have extremely fair prices and did a wonderful job.



Would highly recommend Velocity Moving and I'll be giving them a call on my next move.

From the beginning, Kristen was extremely flexible and professional in scheduling our move. When a change in escrow dates forced us to change our original moving date, Kristen worked with us to find a new spot in their tightly booked (and now we know why) schedule.



On moving day, we had the pleasure of working with Roberto, Adrian, Jonas, and Gerardo who could very well be the most good-natured moving guys on the planet. They were quick, efficient, and extremely respectful of our things.



They were great about double-checking where everything should go, and Roberto made some very thoughtful suggestions about where things should go or how to stack things when space got tight. All our belongings arrived intact, and a week later, I can assuredly say that nothing was missing or broken.



I hope we never have to move again, but if we do, these will be the guys I call.

We moved with Velocity Moving over the last weekend and it was by far the best move I have ever had. I have moved a lot, with and without movers, and these guys were hands-down the best. We had a team of 3 guys who moved us out of our 3-bedroom house into a 2-bedroom in the city in less than the time originally given in the estimate. These guys worked hard, were friendly, helpful, and honest. One of them told us he had broken one of the slats off of our bed frame. It really was not a big deal, and he did not have to tell us. We never would have noticed. Not only did he tell us, but he fixed it on the spot.



We were also very impressed with how enthusiastic they were to get our business. Ofer himself came over himself to do an in-person estimate with a not to exceed clause. This was much nicer than other companies we called who did not want to do it or took much longer to get out to us.



Bottom line: these guys are the way to go for sure and we will definitely use them again and be recommending them to our friends and family.

Absolutely love these guys! they were professional, kind and funny! We hired them to move from our house into a condo and then to take all of our stuff out to storage in New York they were on time, courteous and basically a joy to be around..they asked questions when they didn't know the answers and protected all of our stuff beautifully. And they were so affordable! Hire these guys! they really are the best!

Velocity Moving took care of our storage problem as well as our move. After the move was finished, we found out that at that point we didn’t have enough space for some of our stuff, so we rented storage space from Velocity Moving. It was both economical & safe. Velocity Moving gave us everything we needed.

Velocity Moving are absolutely amazing. They are courteous (on time- even a bit early), fair (charged me less than my estimate), super-efficient AND careful. And on top of all that, both my guys had great attitudes, at 8AM on a Sunday no less!!! Everything made it through the move intact with nary a scratch or dent to my stuff or my apartment(s). In fact, the only casualty of my move was a dish that I dropped. You will NOT be sorry if you hire these guys.

This company has an owner who doesnt know the first thing about customer service. The movers picked up our stuff on October 1st with a same day delivery scheduled through Budget Vanlines. We got to our new address and waited for the movers who waited until 11:30 at night to call us and let us know that the driver (only one with CDL) didnt want to drive anymore and that they would have to deliver the next day. They had all of our stuff so it forced us to got to a hotel. Verbally the forman stated that they would pay for the hotel by reducing out bill by whatever the hotel room cost. We found a cheap hotel to stay at and waited until the next day. They called and said they were leaving around 9:30 in a morning from a location about 1 and half hours away. They showed up at almost 1:30 in the afternoon. Four hours later. Once they arrived they no longer would pay for the hotel room. We talked to the owner who got mad at us and told us that because we were giving a hard time that he would no longer accept a cc payment from us and that he was going to call his forman and have them take the truck back to the yard until the following Thursday (6 days later). The contract with Budget stated that we could use a CC but the owner didnt care that he was breaching contract and made up a story about the office not being open to process the payment. the office was open. I called them. So it forced us to go get money orders which cost us MORE money. The actual people moving the items in and out of the house were very good and were professional. The driver (Anthony) from 10/1 was not the driver who delivered. The driver Anthony was the one who decided he did not want to drive anymore. Once all of our stuff was off the truck and they left we noticed that about 1200 dollars worth of stuff had been stolen from us. Come to find out the drive Anthony had taken the truck and was "missing" for about 45 minutes and from what can be gathered, took the stuff he wanted from us off the truck on the night of the 1st. The only good thing I can say about this company is that the person I am dealing with about the theft has been very nice and is willing to cooperate fully with the police and has directed me on how to file a claim. He knows what customer service is.. His boss however is a liar and is the RUDEST person I have ever talked to in my life.

Do not use this company. the movers themselves are good but the owner and the driver Anthony are theives.
