        Overall

        Everything I love about New York embodied in one destination. Gorgeous old interiors with hints of the past, beautiful and well-dressed people, a lively and almost theatrical scene and really amazing food. The steak and frites are my favorite. I’ve always had great and memorable experiences eating here with friends.

        Good burger

        It's the burger and fries that brings me back, not the staff! Of the 6 times I've been here, only once did I not find someone on the staff to be utterly rude. That said, if you can suck it up, do swing through for a glorious burger cooked to perfection and served with some wonderful french fries! A warning -- do know their policy for ordering. You are NOT allowed to order anything for anyone that has not yet arrived at the table...don't even try!
