Overall

OST has been a major influence in assisting the forward mobility of my acting and modeling career. Since being accepted to OST in June I have worked in a feature film that has been accepted into Sundance FIlm Festival, I have had a successful audition for a television pilot- we are shooting the first scenes of episode 1 next month. And I have been requested as a runway model for Remember the Times Fashion Show. Dreams do not happen overnight but OST definitely has provided a bridge to help me get to where I know I belong. Thank you.

The people that worked there were nice. The building was kind of annoying... way too contemporary, felt like I was in a night club, but they know their stuff. The lady I spoke with informed me all about the people they have helped and if you truly take advantage of the auditions and castings they connect you with then you should have no shortage of acting/modeling gigs.

SCAM!!!

I don't care if I discredit this agency or not, excuse me they are not an agency! They want a fee for sending out comp cards. You pay out of pocket for a photographer but you also pay them $495 for "services" no agency should charge you for anything until you are booked with a job. Oh and a 39.95 fee every month to do search and sends that you can do yourself.

I went into the detroit office with my 8 yr old daughter who wants to be a model. She takes BEAUTIFUL.... and I mean AMAZING pictures, and is a 2x national champion cheerleader, so she has plenty of experiance performing. She also has Down Syndrome.

You would never know it by her pictures, and I guess thats why they still called for an appointment after sending them her professional glamour shots.

But when they met her and noticed she has a learning disability, we were completely blown off and told to wait in the sitting area. They were holding the informative meeting with the other applicants (what they hold before the interview) in a seperate room, and we were shut out from that. We were then called into a private room for an 'interview'. I pointed out we had professional pictures with us, and litterally had to shove them in the mans face so he would look. He glanced at 1 quickly (I had 3) and refused to look at the other 2.

After a quick 5 min. interview (even though the website says at LEAST an hour) we were told they will call us if something comes up. Yeah...right. I will hold my breath for that one....
