Morningside Inn

Five star because after our mobile was stolen out of my hand while walking on the street, Victor assisted us with the follow-up.

The hotel staff are all great, especially housekeeping! Daily housekeeping is included in your stay. my bed was made everyday with the blanket I brought along tucked in as well.

This is a great hotel if you're traveling and need a hotel to crash and shower.

Always a great stay.

Overall, convenient location and inexpensive for NYC.

Awesome location, perfect to rest away from noise and crowed streets, love it ...will take it again.

Two friends and I stayed at the Morningside Inn this past week and had a WONDERFUL stay. The staff was very nice and helpful. The rooms were very simple, yet clean and decent. Our first night we didn't have a room booked, but called and asked if we could get a place, no problem. They were flexible and polite and helped us out. I would most certainly stay at this Inn again and recommend it to anyone traveling on a budget.

I stayed with my girlfriend in this hotel last week and we really liked it. Unfortunately I got the flu in NYC and had to spent a lot of time in the room. Luckily the room was really clean and so where the showers. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The neighborhood is very nice with lots of bars and nice restaurants nearby. If you’re traveling on a budget and looking for rooms in a quiet and save neighborhood you should consider this nice place!

Pretty good budget stay while in NYC; considering summertime and all! Gotta check it out! The neighborhood is awesome, very cheap options for eating, drinking and even meeting some celebrities!

I've just returned from staying at the hotel and this is what I have to say: Great location, very friendly and helpful staff, room cleaned daily with fresh towels. The residents there were wonderfully friendly too which is an added bonus. I would wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone and will hopefully look to stay again in the future!

Very clean, great location, just few streets to subway station, a lot of shops and restaurants around hotel.They've got great prices,air conditioned, hot water, and clean bed.I totally recommend this!

People were very helpful over the phone when I called prior to my arrival. I was greeted in a friendly manner at my arrival. Would highly recommend.

If you are looking for just a place to spend the night, this hotel is perfect as it is very affordable. The room had a mini fridge which came in very handy. This hotel is also a hostel and they have rooms with a shared bathroom, so if you don't want to share a bathroom make sure you request a room with a private bathroom when making your reservation. Everything was very clean and staff was friendly... I would definitely stay here again.

The room was clean. Bathroom had hot showers and didn't ever have to wait more than 5 minutes for one if them to open up.

There are a number of local restaurants near by and a couple minutes walk to metro.

We enjoyed having a light breakfast at Absolute Bagel which is just right around the corner. Great bagels and very popular with the locals.

It was a nice location and good rooms. The place is super nice and the front desk is better than Hilton.

What a nice place to stay. Location is great and very safe. Clean and tidy. The staff are very nice. Two minutes to the subway. The best hotel in NYC for the price.

I've been coming to Morningside for many years. The value is absolutely incredible for the location. The hotel is located on the Upper West Side of Manhattan, which is a very quite, family-friendly area of the city. The hotel is just blocks for the 1 train, so you basically have New York at your finger tips within a matter of minutes.The hotel itself is very clean and the hotel staff is EXCELLENT. One of the best parts about Morningside is that each floor is equipped with a full kitchen, so if you are on a budget, this is a great way to cut the cost of your trip. As I mentioned before, the staff at Morningside is the best - from the front desk to the housekeepers. I've found the staff here to be extremely polite and helpful, which makes the stay even better! I would definitely recommend staying here and am looking forward to my next visit and many more to come!

Loved this, had a private bathroom in our room on the 2nd floor and need to come back here again. Room was comfortable and clean. Staff checked for our reservation and just gave us our key ���� and door number and that was that. Wifi they have it on a piece of paper for different floors. Comes with good channels on the tv, mini fridge, clean towels, just a really amazing place. They have a nice sized kitchen in the hall way also for anyone looking to cook. Didn't hear any of the other guests. Small elevator but, never crowded. Seriously, in all and all, I recommend this to anyone looking to book this place today tomorrow or next week, whenever, its really nice and reasonable for the price. I say spend a like extra just for your own bathroom if you are a couple ���� or not, who knows it may be worth it for your day off or new to the town (:
