        My husband and I were truly disappointed with the stay at the UN Hotel Plaza. It was our anniversary weekend and the room accommodations should have been way better. We requested a refrigerator for medication purposes which was never received and was never communicated to me until I went to the concierge desk to ask about it. There are stains in the carpet near the door, on the window shade, on the walls in the bathroom, etc. There is paneling in the bathroom is poorly secured to the wall. We didn't want to utilize the telephone near the bed as the cords were exposed from the handset and the cord was stained with something. The filtering for the air system was clearly not cleaned for months and had my allergies in an uproar. For the price you pay to stay in this hotel I really believe things should have been better kept. Also the room wasn't what was expected from what is seen on the Expedia website for reservations.
