Art provides clients with thought provoking art by independent artists at this new Lower East Side hair salon/art gallery. New York, New York January 17, 2010 - Located in the heart of the Lower East Side, Le Salon D? Art boasts reasonably priced and trendy haircuts for men and women by high quality stylists in a cozy, intimate setting. Each month, the salon doubles as an art gallery, rotating the work of various independent artists who showcase their paintings, from surreal oil paintings to abstract watercolors. Combining their love for art and hair, owners Grace and Hans feature a new visual artist every month. Artists are celebrated with an art opening party accompanied by a live band, wine, and food and attended by both the salon?s clients and art fanatics. The owners? dedication to supporting and publicizing independent artists is evident in the multifaceted and sophisticated paintings presented at the salon. ?I wanted to provide clients with something different instead of your regular hair salon experience? said Hans. ?I?ve always loved art and I think it?s really important to celebrate and promote independent artists, especially on the Lower East Side which has such a prominent history of artistic and creative culture.? Hans and Grace encourage clients to unwind with a glass of wine, coffee, or tea and the stylists strive to make clients feel at home. In addition to haircuts, Le Salon d? Art offers various coloring services including: single process, highlights, and low-lights. Also available is the popular Coppola Keratin Complex Hair Therapy: a deep-conditioning treatment meant to eliminate frizz, smooth hair, and cut blow drying time in half. Salon D? Art formerly known as Tropical Salon re-opened in January 2010 to provide customers with quality hair care in a laid back, relaxed, and welcoming environment.         Hot Colors, great Styles!

        I was so bored with my hair, but I was afraid of changing. Julia, one of their stylists, asked me what I would like and checked my hair and started to work.... I love it! After a two hour job, I am a new person and it was a very reasonable price.

        These guys are cool and down to earth. They know what they are doing and make you feel good in the process. My hair and attitude were treated well. When you come in ask for Ruben!

        Best Colorist in the world!

        Ruben first analyzed my hair, asked me what I wanted, but recommended something completely different and I trusted his opinion. I walked out like a new woman and I felt 10 years younger. I now sport a bang, with very subtle highlights.
