Generation Model Management

I rarely write long reviews but I certainly make an effort to write when I have a particularly negative experience or when I have a particularly positive experience. In this case, I don't know if there's enough room in this tiny text box to type all the positivity I want to type about Generation Model Management. I have worked in the entertainment industry since 2007, specifically in the NY market, and I have dealt with many casting directors, producers, and various industry professionals.

Flash forward to having my own children and being on the other side of the desk... Myself and my husband were invited into a meeting with Patti Fleischer after submitting both of our children to GMM. During our meeting we spoke about the industry, what would be expected of a parent of a model, what the casting/booking process involves, and any questions we had as a family. We brought both of our "two under two" kids to meet with the team at GMM and we wholeheartedly signed that day with ZERO hesitation. Generation has proven time and time again to be a perfect match for our family.

On a business related note, we have always had thorough communication from GMM, my children have always been paid within 90 days of their jobs, and whenever I had a question or a situation arise at a casting or booking Patti and/or Ellen have made themselves entirely available and aided in the quick and positive resolution we needed.

GMM invests personally in your children and in your family. It is no surprise that the parents past and present of Generation are very inclusive and welcoming. Patti leads by example. I truly believe that there is something to be said for an agency that has been in business as long as Generation and we are blessed to be a part of their past, present, and future.

A group of former employees have decided to band together to make sure you know how bad this agency truly is. Patti, Ellen, and Dina are unprofessional, unethical, and ignorant in their business skills. For Patti and Dina, it is a numbers game. Get as many clients as possible. That is why they do not sign your child to contract like EVERY agent/management company in the industry. They cannot keep track of who they have on their roster, according to one of their full-time employees. There are other more legitimate children modeling companies out there, such as Wilhelmina, and they treat you better than this company. The way the company operates is very suspect, and if you ask them questions, they will get angry and hold it against you. If you say anything negative about them, Patti will try to get her revenge. Stay away from this company.

Generation Model Management has been nothing short of spectacular as my daughters agency. We switched to Generation in October and since then we have been sent for jobs for top clients, ones that we never would have been able to book without their help. Patti and her staff are always there to answer any questions and always have us up to date on all information. We are never asked to pay for anything and they only take the standard % from booked work, just as all the legit agencies do. There is NO scam here, just hard working individuals who want to see the kids with Generation book and be successful.

My children have been with Generation since October and I have nothing but good things to say about Patti and the Generation team. They work hard to get ur children out there and have never asked for a dime. I highly recommend this agency!
