I stop in about once a week. All the guys there are great. No "weirdness" and always very helpful... I like the creative, supportive atmosphere there...

You don't find that everywhere... I've been involved in magic for about 20 years,

so that's why I really appreciate this place-- Especially the guys who Demo there.

I've gotten some "1 of a kind" pieces from them and some real good deals as well, so that helps... I always get the straight dope on things and often pick up little tips from the staff-- Which they're pretty generous with. That's why this is my place to shop.

They're on the 3rd floor now and the new store is really something...

I recommend it to everyone.

went to this magic store , i was in the area, it was something i never seen in NYC, staff was Doing free tricks, they had an amazing Houdini collection, and several little under $10 ITEMS, WHICH I BOUGHT AS GAGS, TO GIVE TO SOME FREINDS. IF YOU EVER WANT TO SEE COIN AND CARD TRICKS, AND FREE, THEY SHOW YOU AND THEY ALSO SELL ITEMS THAT TEACH YOU HOW TO DO MAGIC, I RECOMMNED TO ANYONE VISITING ny, THIS IS A MAGIC STORE THAT HAS IT ALL, AND YOU WIL ENJOY THE TIME SPENT THERE. I UNDERSTAND THERE ARE SOME CELEBS WHO ALSO DO MAGIC AND THEY STOP IN THERE, WHEN IN TOWN,

I visited this magic shop for the first time and was blown away with the venue. I have been doing magic for 20 years and have never seen such an assortment of great classic tricks along with new tricks I could carry in my pocket every where i go. My son loved petting the rabbit and birds and wife enjoyed the Houdini Museum exhibit. As important, the magician behind the counter ("Magic?") was beyond helpful. He not only recommended the right trick for my skill range, but taught the trick to me. I can't wait to go back.
