I took my 20 month old daughter to Dr.Traquina. After being told for 5 1/2 weeks that my daughter had a virus I decided to take her to the specialist. Dr.Traquina was very pleasant. My appointment was booked Wednesday afternoon they had me in Friday morning, I only waited 20 minutes and was seen. She took one look inside my daughters ear and advised me she needed emergency drainage of her eardrum and tubes. Hesitant as the first time mom I was scared for my daughter. She reassured me that this is very common it is a quick procedure. My daughters hearing was at 50% at best she had a double ear infection for 5 1/2 weeks. Before I had showed up to this appointment my daughters pediatrician had prescribed her three different kinds of antibiotics. Nothing was working she was walking around with her fingers in her ears crying waking up in the middle of the night crying . It became a nightmare. Dr.Traquina seen my daughter Friday the following Monday was a holiday but she had my daughter into surgery Tuesday morning. My daughter was in surgery for approximately 15 minutes she came to the recovery room to explain how surgery went gave me directions on what I had to do at home and she gave me the OK to take my daughter home I have nothing but good things to say about Dr.Traquina. She did everything she could have very professionally and I will be going back to her! I would definately recommend her! This picture is in the recovery room!
