Most of its fashions are aimed at young adults between the ages of 18 and 22. Established in 1892, Abercrombie & Fitch is one of the most successful apparel stores in the United States. Its 2005 sales increased 38 percent from the previous year to more than $2.7 billion. In 2006, the company expected to increase gross square-footage by more than 10 percent by adding new stores.
