- General Info
- Mr. Dan’s Plumbing is a family owned and family operated business. John Daniel Carter, aka Mr. Dan, started the business March of 2003. He has been in the industry since working with his father in the 1970’s, who also ran his own plumbing and construction business. As the demand for reliable service has increased, Mr. Dan’s business has found and filled a great need in our service area. Mr. Dan is a licensed Gas Fitter and Master Plumber. He also has certifications for backflow and cross connection systems and liquefied petroleum gas. From one man and a truck, Mr. Dan built his company from the ground up. After returning from active duty service with the Army, Mr. Dan’s son, Joshua Lee Carter joined his father serving the needs of their community. Before being deployed to support the efforts of Operation Iraqi Freedom, Joshua worked as his father’s helper. He later ran his own service truck after becoming licensed as a Journeyman Plumber in July of 2002. He is now licensed as a Master Plumber and Gas Fitter and teams with Mr. Dan to run the day to day operations. Joshua also has certifications from the Alabama Onsite Waste Water Board as an Advanced Level I Septic/Grease System Installer. Today with several plumbing service trucks, septic/grease service trucks, and portable sanitation trucks, Mr. Dan’s serves a wide variety of needs across East Central Alabama. From the water meter to the establishment and the toilet to the sewer system, truly no job is too small or too large. Mr. Dan’s can also serve the portable sanitation needs of your private or social event and construction site with portable hand washing units, portable toilets, and sanitizing stands. We are confident we can meet your needs and exceed your expectations

Corey the technician was very kind and professional. Although he was unable to work on my Water Softener device. He did direct me to the company that can work on it and I scheduled an appointment with them this Friday. I would highly recommend Mr. Dans Plumbing service and if I ever do need a plumber in the future, I certainly know who I will be calling.

The technician was very professional and efficient. He went thru my ac unit and got it ready for winter. When he was done he explained in detail what he had done and the problems he corrected . He showed me before and after photos. I will definitely be using Mr.Dan again
Phoned Mr. Dan's around 1:30 PM on 2/11. They dispatched the call to available plumbers and the plumber called me and told me he would stop by on the way home to check the problem. Came by my house around 6:30 PM and repaired the problem at that time. After calling four other plumbers in my area, I was not expecting the problem to be fixed right away. Thanks to the two young men coming out so promptly. Exceeding my expectations !
Great Service. Had a gas leak and was able to find it quickly. Found out there was more than just one leak, took them a little longer to find second leak, but it was found and fixed. Very professional with great service. Would highly recommend.
Extraordinary service!!!! I have used Mr.Dan's for a number of services. In the past for field line replacement and most recently to repair waterlines damaged by cold weather. They are, on average more reasonably priced and above average in response time and professionalism.
Joshua and Colby came by to clean the septic tank out and they were great. They did a really good job, They were nice people, and I would love to have them come back next time.
Mr. Dan's Plumbing did a great job on the work on our office in Anniston AL. They were friendly knowledgeable, and affordable.
