Acme Towing

on Friday July 21,2017 at 9:30 pm I was coming back from Bullhead City to Sun City AZ when I was 9 miles from Wickenburg and ran out of gas.( there is a first time for everything even at 68.) My first thought was to call our insurance road side assistance..After waiting an hour and a half and not hearing back from them, I called again. I was on hold for a half an hour before I could speak to someone telling them we had been sitting for 2 hours. Their reply was" we are working on trying to find someone to help you. It is very busy tonight". Approximateley ten minutes later a company in Phoenix called and said they were on I-10 and would be there in about one and a half hours. I explained we had already been waitng .over an hour and a half. He replied I have a friend in Wickenburg I will call him to see if he will help us out. About 5 minutes later he told me his friend was already on his way and would be there to help us in about 10 minutes. His friend, LARRY from ACME TOWING was there in a matter of minutes with enouh gas to get us to the station 9 miles away. He followed us to make sure we got there without any problem also. I can not thank Larry enough for having to interrupt his sleep to come bring us gas. You are an angel.and I will always be grateful to you.. Larry also informed me that we could have called 911 because it is not safe being on the side of the road at night. in the heat and especially with a pet in the car. We were not only saved that night but learned something very valuable. Praises to you LARRY from ACME TOWING. Forever grateful Lyn

On Sept 30 2016, I was in my ford SUV traveling from Las Vegas NV headed to Fountain Hills AZ. Its a 5 hour drive. 2 hours left I was near Wiki and Wickenburg, when all of a sudden I lost power.... no acceleration, lights, etc. I could barely get to the shoulder.... Within mins. a Wonderful highway patrol pulled up. Officer Heigle... He was able to push my SUV over more and nice enough to provide me with a list of repair and towing services near by.

Now its a Friday around 3pm and no business was willing to help me other than to tow me to Wickenburg and spend the weekend until Monday. So I made 1 last call......Acme Towing, a nice guy named Larry answered ..He was fairly sure after I told him what happened that the breaker box could be the problem...Since the traffic was loud and I couldn't hear him well, he was happy to speak to Highway Patrol Heigle. He advised us to open the fuse box inside the SUV.... It was crazy to me, but he was right! It is Possible that a rock or something tripped the fuses to my gas supply... Within seconds....after resetting the fuse, IT STARTED!! OMG he is my HERO. Larry really knows his Business... I'm super impressed and he was so HONEST and really went above and beyond to help and stayed on the phone until it was running and or if I needed anything else. Not only did he save the day, he is HONEST,CARING, and KNOWLEDGEABLE!

I was headed back on that same route on Sunday, and I sent Larry a message that I would be passing through Wickenburg and Id love to stop by and meet the man that is my HERO!
