Overall

I gave the place 1 star because I liked the counsellor & nurses. At first I loved Momentum. The idea is great, but actual operation falls flat. I followed all the rules, did the physical therapy, injections, psych counseling, even vitamin B12 shots. I'd noticed the huge staff turnover...I never saw any one dr for very long before he/she left. Then I noticed a lot of patients being dropped. Every visit there would be a number of patients who were "trash-talking" in the parking lot after being dropped. I figured they must have done something wrong & were just venting.

I never thought it would happen to me. I was doing everything right, kept my PT appointments (when they had a Physical therapist- they quit as well), saw the counsellor, my pill-counts were usually correct, I followed every instruction & made it clear I was willing to undergo any procedure they deemed necessary. Then, one day I was dropped. I was told I'd had 3 negative drug screens in the past year. The CEO accused me of selling my meds. I was so stunned at the entire situation, I couldn't think straight. He kept repeating over & over, I must have done something wrong, because the drugs should've been in my system & they weren't. It wasn't til our "interview" was over that I recalled the occasions when my return appointments were scheduled a couple of days after I was due to run out of meds (once it was over a week, as the dr had a personal emergency). I told the nurse, who told me she'd tell the dr. She promised me she'd check into it & get back to me in a week.

I never heard back from them again. I didn't call until nearly 2 weeks later (I didn't want to be a pest); the receptionist curtly informed me they wouldn't take me back as a patient.

In that last "interview" with the CEO, he told me flat out that if it came to a choice between a patient's needs & his job, he'd always choose his job.

He doesn't care about the patients, just their money.

I know this dr has several other clinics in the area - those are suboxone clinics (drug rehab). THAT'S where he makes his real money.

I truly liked most of the staff at Momentum, but after a few years I saw the place for what it really was. They don't want long-term patients, just ones they can "heal" in a year or 2 then release. Someone with chronic &/or deteriorating conditions will be booted out on some pretext or other sooner or later. I didn't realize, until I found a new comprehensive clinic that's well-run & doesn't overbook or load patients down with paperwork on every visit, how absolutely stressed-out I was just by attending Momentum. By the end, my physical & mental health were strained to the point I began having seizures & serious sleep issues, which put me in hospital several times.

If you have whiplash or something that can be corrected within a couple of years, & don't mind sitting in a waiting-room a couple of hours, then Momentum might be fine for you. But if you have a chronic ailment that isn't gonna go away, then stay away.

WORST PLACE EVER

PEOPLE PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS PAIN CLINIC. THEY GET 0 stars. I AM A HARD WORKING MOTHER OF TWO AND WAS TREATED HORRIBLY BY MOMENTUM PAIN CLINIC. THIS PLACE STOLE MY MONEY AND DID NOT PROVIDE GOOD QUALITY HEALTHCARE. IF YOU LIKE BEING DISRESPECTED BY THE SCHEDULER THEN THIS IS YOUR PLACE. PLEASE DO NOT GIVE THIS TERRIBLE CLINIC A CHANCE. YOU WILL REGRET IT. THE CEO IS A GREEDY,NARRSISTIC JERK THAT STEALS MONEY AND PRESCRIPTIONS. THIS PLACE SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN.

Life Impacting Experience

I can honestly say my experience with Momentum Medical Pain and Spine Care has impacted my life. I was in a desperate situation, numbness spreading over 80% of my body and I was unable to find anywhere to get into quick enough for how fast my symptoms were spreading or even get anyone to listen to me. Fate, and Doctors who truly care about the well being of their patients lead to me to a prompt but carefully treated diagnosis with top notch patient care. If you are suffering from any type of brain or spinal cord injury, DO NOT hesitate to contact these Doctors. With lots of prayer and the right treatment plan, my condition is now on the mend and I have a very hopeful future ahead of me and they are a very big part of my story. As long as they are around to treat me, I'll be seeing them about my condition. Thank you Momentum Medical Pain and Spine Care.
