        Poor management.

        Called and emailed for three weeks trying to get a specific dog. The staff informed us of the day they would reopen and my wife called before they opened to let them know she was on her way and they said ok. She arrived twenty minutes after they opened. Only to come in and see our puppy being given to someone who didn't even come in for him. I am very disappointed and will not be using them again.

        Love At First Site is an extension of Murphy Rd. Animal Hospital, located directly across the street. The entire staff has more of an interest in the health of the animal over the personal needs of a potential client, which usually leaves people disgruntled. After volunteering for numerous years on and off, I adopted. I couldn't praise the staff more. Dr. Graves is amazing. If you actually care about the pets needs over your own and you have a few hours to be patient with their hectic schedule, you will not be disappointed.

        Love volunteering here

        I love going by Love At First Sight to see the new puppies and kittens. Everyone that works there is so nice and I learn so much from them. This isn't a place just to go and play with animals, this is a adoption center. Many people are discouraged from going in just to hold the puppies and kittens. It can actually make them sick and cause problems for their forever home.I have only gotten to volunteer here a few times but I am looking forward to going back to help out the staff. Reading some of the reviews, some people just get mad because they are turned away because they aren't the BEST placement for the animals. Shame on you people, you are paying for animals health care, not an animal. All the funds go directly back to the nursery so they can shelter and care for MORE pets that people have neglected.

        BEWARE - Do NOT adopt from LAFS/Murphy Road Animal Hospital I had the WORST experience at this facility. They insisted I pay for services NOT rendered - that's right - they acknowledged that they did not do the services yet still insisted I PAY for them. When I questioned their motives they CANCELLED MY ADOPTION and REFUSED TO GIVE ME BACK MY DOG. This dog was living in my home for almost 3 months! My family is heartbroken and all over $40! There are a lot of good shelters out there - Murphy Road Animal Hospital is not one of them!!!
