I had a 3pm appointment at which I arrived on time. The color was put on my hair and I was taken to a freezing cold room to wait for 40 minutes for my color to process. After about 20 minutes I noticed my stylist was shampooing someone elses hair and when it came time for my color to come off she was no where near ready to start on my hair. I had a class I had signed up for at 5:30 and didn't think it would be a problem making it though I new I might be a few minutes late when I scheduled the hair appointment. At 5PM the stylist had someone else come and put toner on my hair, the bottle of toner had about 1 inch in it and she was shaking and it was sputtering trying to get what little was in it out. I was beginning to get worried. She then shampooed my hair and my stylist was still working on someone elses hair and was no where near being done. I had to either stay there and wait for her to finish the other person up and miss my class I had paid for or leave with wet hair. I said something about having to leave to the girl who put the toner on and she didn't seem concerned. I went up to the counter and told my stylist I was going to have to leave since I'd been there two hours and I knew it would be awhile to get to my hair and then it would take another hour to cut my hair and then I would miss my class. I complained a lot to the girl who put the shampoo and toner on about how cold it was and she said it was always like that which told me right away this was not someplace I want to return to where the owner is too cheap to heat the building for the customers. I was offered to have someone else cut my hair but by that time I was so cold and so late I said I would just go home and dry my hair but made it clear my main reason to be there was for a hair cut and after two hours it had not happened. So I left with wet hair into freezing weather after paying $75 and not getting what I came for.



When I got home and rushed to dry my hair I was even more mortified because the highlights were white, orange, yellow and some half and half, the top would be while and the bottom would be orange, this is by far the worse color job I've ever had in 53 years, I think if there had been enough toner and she had put it on correctly it would have been fine.



I have my own business and this would never have been allowed to happen. First of all, my place of business would be comfortable so my customers were not freezing and if someone was not happy with my services we would work something out or they would not have to pay. This happens occasionally in my line of work and people are always appreciative and they always return because they know I'm fair.



I plan to go to Elan in Green Hills this week to see if they can cut my hair and try to fix my stripes of many colors. I was so looking forward to treating myself to a nice day and being treated special but instead I was treated worse than someone at HeadsUp. It's just that I'm on the road so much and my life is so scheduled I don't have hours to sit and watch everyone walk in and get their hair done while I sit and wait until they can find time to fit me in even though I had an appointment.



If you don't have to work or time does not matter than this is your place, but if you have a job and obligations and want to be treated with respect then you may want to try somewhere else.
