I came in to get bed rails. The sale associate was polite, listened and got me what I needed. The warehouse employee went over what I was picking up and made sure I had the correct product!!!

My experience was very easy and pleasant! I ordered a sofa online, and it was delivered just when I needed it. The delivery guys took the plastic off and that was it, that simple! When I did speak to someone at the store, the gentleman was very nice and kept his word. Yes, I am going to make another purchase and can’t wait to do so!

We bought a sectional three piece sofa from this location on the 27th and had it delivered the next day. The communication could have been better, as they couldn’t even tell us a time frame during the purchase. Needless to say, we waited at home for over six hours to hear back from them after leaving a message with the secretary. The delivery men scratched the first piece of the sectional causing tears through the plastic. He suggested I pad woollite on gently in front of a blow dryer... I contacted the customer service department hoping for a solution and after reviewing the pictures attached in our email conversation the manager suggested I was responsible for the return of the damaged item if I wanted a replacement. I explained to him I was charged for delivery and did not think he was being reasonable, especially after his guys broke a celling light in my brand new home during the delivery and left me to unpackage and assemble everything.

That being said ^ you get what you pay for. If you want professional help and high quality materials? Or even delivery guys who wear shoe covers to protect your rugs, you might want to consider alternatives.

Great experience with Don. We have been searching for a “leather like” recliner to match our sectional, and they had one that was BOGO free. We went in and tried it out and liked it so we purchased it, and the additional warranty. All of the staff was kind and easy to deal with, and they had a great selection. We will definitely return in the future.

HORRIBLE PLACE TO SHOP AT. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM 399 sofa store on Thompson Lane. They are all liars and work together to cheat people. They tell you one thing and then when you catch them in their lies, they deny saying it.... The people that work their are rude and are compulsive liars to get their commission on things they sell. It is all about sales that they make and the making customers happy. Paula who works in their finance department is a compulsive liar who you need to watch out for when financing. Make sure you record everything when discussing financing through them. One of the sales person I dealt with lied to me saying that i had no interest for 24 months. Well guess what, they failed to do that so it did apply interest onto it. Oh by the way, that sales person doesnt work there anymore after working there for over 25 years. I wonder why??? John Evans who acted like he wanted to help did not resolve the issue. What kind of business does 399 sofa store run with the horrible, pathetic employees they have that do not resolve issues. You want customers to have a pleasant experience to bring them back in the future or have them recommend it to others. INSTEAD, they are only putting people in nasty situations based on lies. These people that work here are making the business look bad. This place is a SCAM and will take your money. Don't say you weren't warned.

DO NOT SHOP AT THIS STORE!!

I was remodeling my daughters bedroom and was looking for a Daybed of good quality and within my set budget. After a couple of weeks of shopping both in stores and online, I saw a TV commercial for Furniture Warehouse and decided to give them a try. When we walked in the store, there was a pretty white daybed on the sales floor and my daughter instantly fell in love with it.

Edward was the sales person that approached us and he let us know that the bed was solid oak, which was great and it was a REALLY good price. He checked to see if they had one in stock in a box and he said they did. Great, I told him I would pick it up the next day. When I returned the next day Edward was not working and I was directed to John Evans, the sales manager. HE then told me that the floor model was the only one in stock. I was taken by surprise with that news, but I figured it was not all bad. Yes, Edward lied to me, but floor model deals can sometimes be to the benefit of the customer... Not so in this case!

After inspecting the floor model we discovered a small scratch on the front and John told me they could "touch it up". I thought that would be fine. He said they had a crew to disassemble it, they would wrap it up and we could take it home. John Evans also let me know that they have a NO REFUND, NO RETURN policy. That should have made me leary, but I proceeded to purchase thinking everything will be fine, after all, I had inspected the bed and it looked fine...before the disassemble/touch up crew got to it.

When I got the bed home and unwrapped it, I realized that THEY HAD DAMAGED AND SCATCHED THE BED EVEN FUTHER IN THE DISASSEMBLE PROCESS. What they call "touch up" was a HOT MESS!! Now I have to paint the entire bed to make it look right. I did call John Evans back to make him aware of my disappointment and there is nothing he can do NO REFUND< NO RETURN...

Cheap furniture that can be used to fill your space. Just don't be too hopeful about the quality of the pieces. The cheap ones are cheap, but the quality pieces are overpriced.

good stuff

I have been shopping at furniture warehouse for years and so have many of my friends. Before shopping at this store I shopped at metro furniture where I first met Edward a salesperson at furniture warehouse. He is an awesome salesperson and has always been forthright with us directing us towards things of better quality. I read a review about him that suggested he lies about furniture being in stock. This person said she did not buy the furniture when she first came in and he checked inventory but days later. I guess she thinks was the only person in Nashville buying daybeds. It is unfair to call him a liar based on this. Wherever he is is where I will buy my furniture.
