Fun Lunch with Friends. Buffet salads were really really good. Hated to wait in the lines. Too many people!

The Sunday Brunch at Ellingdale's is exceptionally nice. Their is a pasta bar (PHENOMENAL), omelet station (PHENOMENAL), buffet, tons of salads to choose from and tons of desserts. The service has always been great! I have gone several times. You want be disappointed.

This used to be a great dining experience especially on Sundays or special events like Mom's Day. The service seems to have gotten progressively worse and the food quality is iffy at best. I still love the setting, grounds and layout of the establishment, but seems the owners or managers have given in to not caring or the passion it takes.

This is a high end Restraint .....The grounds are very dirty..And don't look like Parking Lot has been tended to in Yearsssss.Food Taste great..But over all..Has a very Dirty type atmosphere..I would never eat here again nor would I recommend anyone eat at this particular food establishment..All the wait Staff look like freaks...Long nasty Dread Locks and hair on the faces, Earrings etc..Please re frame from eating here.

The food isn't very tasty and the prices are outrageous! The service is snobby, and the entire place needs a remodel. My main reason for not liking this place is the tast and quality of the food.

I was reading the reviews and was blown away by all the bad ones I saw here. I went here around 6-7 months ago and was amazed at the food. I had the Romeo n juliet (I could be wrong about the name, but it was something similar). The steak was absolutely amazing. Cooked to perfection. Melted in my mouth and seasoned perfectly. The side was truffled potatoes with sautéed greens and was one of the best things I ever tasted. My girlfriend had a buffalo chicken sandwich with home made seasoned potato crisps. We both thoroughly enjoyed everything. The server was very friendly and had a good knowledge of ingredients and preparation procedures. My ONLY regret was not waiting to sit in the piano room. I believe eating in a room filled with beautiful classical music could've been the only thing to enhance my experience.

I was so excited to be going to Ellendales. The place is beautiful, historic and the staff was very friendly. Unfortunately, even though we were one of the first people to arrive for the evening, there was a room full of people brought in by bus. I guess that is why our service really lacked. So much so, that the hostess had to take our dessert order. We had questions and she tried to answer them but when we got our dessert, we realized that her information was not correct. We thought they tried to hard to make the food more special by adding things in the sauces, etc. I had the grouper and my sister had Cleopatra's pasta. Both were only so-so, They had the potential to be great but they just missed the grade. Then when the check came, we were even more aware that our choice of a great night out on a limited budget was not a great one. We really wanted this place to match the website (which is gorgeous) and the ambiance. However, we both left saying that we didn't really think we would be back again. Oh - the "garden drinks" were great! But, be prepared to pay a stiff price for them.
