Good service and great price.

The state of how they keep there store should have given me a clue not to purchase here. EVERYTHING is strewn everywhere. I gave them the benefit of the doubt.

The man who owns the business does the tuxedo orders. He wanted me to pay in cash.He wouldn't write me a receipt. He wrote some scribble on the back of a business card and told me to bring it back. he neglected to give me a copy of my order form. I should not have left but I had faith that a local business owner would stick to his word. My fiancé showed up, and no tuxes! it was a shipping mixup and they would be in the next day!

So the next day the tuxes come in and they are WRONG! So the next day I came to get the tuxes and he had overnighted some very cheap purple tablecloth vests and black shirts that were very worn.I told them I wanted a refund. He told me no money back! He said he would refund the tie and vest and go buy them somewhere else! I didn't have another 500 dollars to spare. He told me to take him to court.

We were very impressed with the owners and the girls working there. My daughter tried on lots of dresses (all pretty/nice) and thought she found the one she wanted, however, there was a bit of hesitation, as we left the owner said if she got home and changed her mind bring it back the next day, so we did. Two days of trying on probably 20 dresses, she found her perfect dress the 2nd day, the wife will do some slight alterations that were needed (for a very good price). The whole experience was great ! There is for sure a large selection w/good/affordable pricing.

I went to every department store in Nashville, looking for a ball gown and I came in, just to look, and found exactly what I needed! Husband was very funny and the wife was so sweet and did my alterations in 10 min!!!

I had to order a bridesmaid dress there because they were the only one in Nashville to carry the brand. They had no samples to try on. The woman measured me and ordered the dress on a website. She told me it'd be in by July. The dress came in the first week of September. The wedding is the third week of September. I took the dress home and tried it on, THERE WAS SIX INCHES BETWEEN THE SIDES OF THE ZIPPER!!!! What? All she had to do was properly measure me and type a few things on the computer. Total fail. So now I have two weeks to alter this dress which involves sewing part of the lining into the back because the color is impossible to match. I will not be having the dress altered there. Either the woman who measured me is slow or a total scam artist. Awful messy place too. Please know when you eat curry in the backroom it will stink up the whole place.

I have been giunf to Rj's fir the last six tears for my children formal wear and i always get the best deals love Mr Rj

I really recommend this place because they have pretty dresses for a good price and are very friendly . Iv went here for all my dresses iv needed.

I went to RJ's Fashions on Nolensville Rd to get a bridesmaids dress last year. I was treated well and everything went well with my order, just like I expected. As I was walking out with my dress, Mrs. RJ asked me to put a review for them if I liked the service they provided. Even though I said yes at that time, I forgot about it and did nothing. After all, they did what they were expected to do, nothing more and nothing less. Then few days ago, when the weather was so cold, I saw Mr. RJ out in the freezing weather there by the exit ramp of I-24 at Bell Road in Antioch, passing out hats and gloves to the homeless. Then I remembered that I had agreed to put a review for the business. That is why I am doing this now. I am a very satisfied customer and I will certainly use their service again. But, I am most impressed with their kindness toward the poor. Somebody told me that they live in a very modest house and drives a car that is almost as old as me.

I would not recommend this place to anyone! I never write reviews on places, but the customer service I received was unbelievable and unacceptable. I just spoke on the phone with a lady who could barley speak English (supposedly the manager) and she actually yelled at me for asking if I could set up an appointment for my bridesmaids to come in and try on dresses. She said that people always came into the store and tried on her dresses but ended up buying them somewhere else. Because of this, there is a $10 charge PER person to try on dresses! She kept asking if we were going to buy from her and didn't seem to understand why I said I didn't know yet because we hadn't tried any on? Planning a wedding is supposed to be a fun and memorable experience. This woman (who again said she was the manager) should be working at a Subway not in the wedding industry. Do not give them your business.

I was a bridesmaid for a wedding recently and we ordered our dresses from RJ. We ordered our dresses back in January, but guess what? RJ ordered the wrong dress and we didn't find out till April... meaning we didn't get our dresses until two weeks before the wedding. I'm not sure why he is so rude or incompetent, but if you are reading this review and do not want a horrible experience for your wedding look elsewhere. I wish that I read these reviews prior to buying my dress from this place. People aren't making this up, how many times has he ordered the wrong dresses for his customers??? It seems to be a never ending topic in all the reviews... Even if you think this place has the lowest price for the dress you want, you do not want this experience... Again, this is a warning.... find another bridal place, this place is horrible.

I AM SO ANGRY WITH THESE PEOPLE..I ORDERED MY WEDDING VEIL IN APRIL AND THEY TOLD ME IT WILL GET HERE IN TWO WEEKS. WHEN I CHECKED IN TWO WEEKS THEY SAID IT WILL GET HERE IN JULY!!!!!! MY WEDDING IS IN AUGUST. SO I SAID OK AS LONG IT GETS HERE ON TIME AND THEY SAID IT WILL. SO I HAVE BEEN CHECKING ALL THIS TIME. CALLING AND CALLING AND I EVEN WENT TO THE STORE TO CHECK ON IT AND THEY SAID GIVE IT TIME. EVERYTIME THE INDIAN LADY WOULD RESPOND SHE WOULD BE RUDE AND TELL ME YEA YEA ILL CHECK ON IT...I CALL YOU BACK. CUTTING ME OFF QUICKLY. NEVER WOULD SHE CALL ME BACK!! NOW IT IS JULY..I CALL AGAIN GUESS WHAT SHE SAYS IT WILL NOT GET HERE ON TIME SO I REFUND YOU MONEY. REALLLY REALLY!!!! WHY YOU TELL ME NOW WHEN I HAVE NO MORE TIME!! WEDDING IS AROUND THE CORNER. NEVER EVER WILL I GO BACK TO THIS PLACE AGAIN. I DONT THINK THEY EVER CHECKED UNTIL NOW!!!! I EVEN TOLD THEM TO GIVE ME THE NUMBER SO I CAN CHECK MYSELF..BUT NO THEY DIDNT WANT TO DO THAT. ZERO STARS FOR YOU IF I COULD. AND I WILL BE TELLING EVERYONE NOT TO COME TO THIS PLACE.

Bridal & Formal by RJS is a great store. I got my dress there yesterday, and it is beautiful. I got a good deal. The couple who runs the store is very considerate and helpful. Thank you Mr. RJ.

It's a great store. I took my daughter and her friends to Rj's. We live in Jackson, TN. It is a long way to Rj's. But, it was worth it. Now I know why the kids brag about Rj's so much. My daughter and one of her friends got their dresses there. I am very pleased with my purchase. I got a very good deal on this Riva dress. The sales people are wonderful! They are very nice. Mrs. RJ knows her dresses.

Bridal & Formal by RJS is the best prom shop in town. Yesterday we went to so many stores and, by far, this store was the best. They have a very big selection of dresses and they are wonderful people. They are so helpful and they treat you like you are their friend and their neighbor. When we were there, there were several moms with their daughters shopping for prom dresses. We were talking about the experiences at other stores. They all agree that Bridal & Formal by Rj's is the best. There are some nice stores in Nashville when it comes to prom shopping, but none compares to Bridal & Formal by Rj's. I don't know if it is Rj's or RJS. But I recommend them.

This store is a complete sham! We had a wedding and chose Alfred Angelo bridesmaid dresses. This was the only store in this area that carried/ordered these dresses. (UNFORTUNATELY!) All of my bridesmaids in this area (3 of them) ordered their dresses from this store in time for them to arrive for alterations, if needed. One of my bridesmaids was completely shafted by the store manager, RJ. Her "dress" arrived and it was the WRONG DRESS!!!! RJ had ORDERED THE WRONG DRESS! We had given him the right number when she ordered it, but he ADMITTED to ordering the wrong dress and making the mistake. We expected for him to do everything he could to correct the mistake... right? NOPE. All that happened was this. We had to demand that he have alterations done to the dress (which my bridesmaid hated and will never wear again!). We also had to demand that he give her a refund. My bridesmaid (I feel so bad for her) had to make 5 trips out to this store JUST because of all of the mistakes that they made. Every time, she had to get a babysitter, since she has two little ones under the age of 2. So, not only did she have to drive 1-hour round trip every time, she had to PAY for a sitter because of RJ's stupid mistake. All-in-all, she ended up paying over $500 for expenses+$100 for a dress that she didn't like and will never wear again and had grief from RJ, making her feel like it wasn't their fault.



My recommendation to every single person looking for a bridal/formal store, DO NOT SET FOOT IN THIS STORE - they will scam you and scam you and scam you and make you feel like they did you a service when they are the ones banking.



I will never be able to think about that store/man with positive thoughts, EVER! He seemed like a nice guy in the beginning, but boy, was I wrong!

Bridal & Formal by RJS at 3806 Nolensville Pike, Nashville, has it all. We looked everywhere for a prom dress for my daughter. She is very picky when it comes to her dresses. We could not find one that she was happy with. Disappointed, we practically gave up. Then a friend of hers told us about RJ s. It was so close and we did not know about this store! We went there and we were amazed at the selection. She not only found her dress there, but she found so many that she fell in love with. There were so many to choose from. After two hours trying on dresses there, (Mr. RJ was very patient) she finally selected one. She was happy and I was relieved. They are very helpful at Bridal & Formal by RJS. Bridal & Formal by RJS is the best prom shop in Nashville. I looked all over for a dress for my prom. I even went as far as Kentucky looking for a plus size prom dress. But, I did not find many selection in any store until I visited Bridal & Formal by RJS. They have plenty of choices. I found the perfect dress for me. I want to thank Mrs. RJ for being so helpful. She knew what will look good on me and what I was looking for. And their price was a lot lower than any other place I visited. Dudes looking for TUX need to go to RJS. They have so many choices of colors and the price starting at $69, you cannot beat it.

I got my prom dress at RJ's last night. I tried so many dresses there, only because my mom wanted me to. I fell in love with the very first dress I tried there, Mrs. RJ picked for me. She knows her stuff. She knows what will look good on any body shape. After trying on so many dresses, we ended up with the very first one. It is a Sherri Hill dress and I love it.

I got my prom dress, and I am very excited. Nobody had good prom dresses for plus size girls like me. Nobody, that is, except Bridal & Formal by RJS.. They had so many to choose from. I found my perfect Prom dress there. I love RJs Bridal store.
