Dental Dreams: I arrives a lit...

Dental Dreams: I arrives a little before 12:50 for 1pm, 1:30pm, and 2pm appts for the boys. 4 people were at the desk, one was on the phone and the other 3 were just standing there. NO ONE greeted me. So I got the boys set in the play area and then came up to the desk. I proceeded to wait for several minutes until the woman on the phone was done. The other 3 continued to talk. Then, I still was not greeted and was told to sign the clip board and sign in as 12:55. We went through the give me cards, here are papers, and please be seated routine. I do want to point out that many on their sign in clipboard were walk ins.

I filled out the paperwork, returned it and proceeded to wait. Clark's appt time came and went. Karl's appt time came and went, and 3 minutes into Laurence's I decided we would get our shoes on and leave. So at 2:03 I started to get shoes and coats on. I then went up to the desk and let them know I was leaving. I let them know that I had an appt, it took 2 1/2 months to get in and they were past an hour on the first appt time and I had 3 appts total. Never once did someone bother to tell me the Dr. was behind. The most I got was a simple "I'm sorry" and that was that. No one was rude about anything, but they did not seem to concerned either.

We left. Over an hour of my time wasted.

It is extremely unfortunate that quality dental care that isaffordable is impossible to find.

The problem with dental dreams is their lack of patient respect and basic customer service.

My first visit for myself and children was too long. 6 hours for xrays.

My second visit, they called me to come in at 5 instead of 530. At 630, I finally asked what was going on. Mind you that I was avoided and ignored until then. "oh, we often run behind" I was informed then that it would be another 30-45 minutes before I was called back. We rescheduled for the next day and low and behold here I still sit over an hour since my appointment time, being ignored and avoided.

While many of the people that come here do so because they lack insurance, it does not give the staff the right to ignore them, dismiss them or take advantage if them by abusing their time. All people deserve respect and that us the last thing offered at Dental Dreams in Muskegon, the entire staff should be ashamed of the lack of professionalism and customer service they present. The office manager is the worst of them all. It is a sad shame their is no accountability in thus office.

horrible experience.

I was to have two teeth pulled. The dentist (nguyen if I remember correctly) asked me if I had a job, I told him I was currently on maturity leave. To which he asked how I gave birth, and when I told him a C-section he said he could tell?!?! What does that even mean. He also touched a bump I have on my head and asked me why I didn't have it removed... Then I was given a shot to numb me for the extractions, after which I could still feel serious pressure and a lot of pain. When I told him this, he then said he could not continue because of my behavior and referred me to somewhere else. He told me I would need to be put asleep or something because I clearly couldn't handle dental work. Then disappeared and had his assistant give me an rx for Norco and an antibiotic which I am allergic. I never took either medication he prescribed due to the allergy and the fact I had no serious pain or infection, he prescribed these for no reason. So it wasn't until today when I did go to the other dental place, and have the teeth removed did I realize how horrible of an experience I really had at dental dreams. I handled it just fine, and felt no pain, and was treated with respect. I would never recommend anyone going there. I wouldn't even go there for free, or let my children go there... I am so glad he didn't complete the extractions. There may be other dentists within the practice who are more competent but I would never risk it to try again.

Dental Dreams, more like Dental Nightmares!! Do not go here, I waited 2 hours in the waiting room to get called back. Once I got back into a dental chair I had the worst teeth cleaning of my life! She basically went over my teeth with a spin brush then squirted some water and said swish, took all of 5 mins! I was suppose to have my wisdom teeth pulled but I was waiting 40 mins before I finally left. I can only imagine the horror I would be feeling today if I would have let them pull my teeth based off the clear lack of care she took on cleaning my teeth.
The staff informed me that they do not hire dental hygienists so they do not have to pay them so they have more money in there pockets. I was floored, Ive never heard of such a thing. Complete lack of customer care! Save yourself the time and frustration!

The time it took to get into my appointment was quick but when I got back I was in a room and waited and got my x rays and the doctor came in and did a few things left and came back and left and came back. It was really frustrating especially since the fillings he did came out of my teeth this evening after many days of unnecessary pain from them. I want to demand no payment for their services as they were of such bad quality they came out now I have holes in my teeth and a bill from them.
