Panda Express

The portions in relation to the cost are great. The food might not be authentic but I don't expect that from a restaurant chain. No real complaints.

I had never been to a Panda Express before I tried the one in Muncie. I had heard many great things about Panda, and one thing I had heard was that they were not necessarily authentic, but that they were more authentic than many "Chinese" restaurants we have in the US. ---I heard this from a lot of my Chinese friends.

However, my food was pretty bland. My biggest disappointment though was the crab rangoon. (Yes I know, not really authentic, but I've got to have it.) There was definitely ricotta cheese-NOT cream cheese- in my crab rangoon. It was something that should be served at an Italian restuarant, not a Chinese restaurant.

Also, there were no Asian people working in the kitchen while I was there. I have a problem with that. Maybe that's why the food was cooked improperly?

I would rather eat at a different Asian restaurant in Muncie-one owned and run by Asian people...who, you know, actually know how to cook Asian food.

I like the food here but the checkout process kinda ticks me off. The extra questions at time of payment i know is not the cashiers fault but what the company is telling them what to say. If those extra questions for donations etc. at checkout were taken away i would give a 5 star review. I just hate the checkout questions for donation or email addresses so much now since way to many places are doing it now.
