In The Village

I had highlights and a trim done by Lauren in the Mullica Hill Salon, and she did a great job. She has a great personality and is very helpful with advice on what color and style will look best. I will definitely be using Lauren for all my future haircuts and highlights.

In the Village Salon at the Main Street - Mullica Hill location offers charming ambience. In addition, to their ambience, this salon tries to caters to their clients with hot or cold beverages, fruit, cheese and crackers.



As for the main reason we go to In the Village, this salon falls short on their Hair service. I've tried 3 different hairdressers at this Salon, and I found that they are all out dated. They lacked experience in current trends and cuts. In my experience, 2 out of the 3 hair dressers over processed my highlights and caused breakage, which resulted in me cutting my hair twice. The one hairdresser that came close to acceptable, was always out sick. I've showed up twice for an appointment, which was cancel while I was enroute. The first time it happened the manager apologized and asked if I wanted to use another stylist. The second time, the manager was indifferent and behaved like they were doing me a favor.



On several occasions, I've witnessed a variety of stylists gossiping about each other while they are tending to patrons. I've even witnessed them talk about their patrons after they leave.



In my opinion, In the Village is inconsistent with their hair services and they lack professionalism.



I'm so turned off by this location that I'm not even willing to try their new location in Swedeboro:-( because some of their stylists go back and forth. Quite frankly, it's only a matter of time where bad habits from one location can infect the other location.
