Dr. Stacy John Berckes, MD

Dr Berckes is the Best! I have been with him for over 6 years he truly cares about you. He spends the time to find out what you really need to get better.

Dr Berckes office is such an ease. First off, they work with you on your schedule and never have to wait to long in the waiting room. I been to Pain Management offices before and they were like herding cattle and given prescriptions like candy not Dr Berckes though. He truly cares about your pain and health and always spend the appropriate time with you. I would recommend his office in Mt Dora in a heartbeat. I have now been with his practice for 3 years and proud to say my Pains are gone and controlled!

I've being seeing Dr. Berckes for about 4 years now. I have a high deductible insurance so I always end up paying out of pocket, but this office has ALWAYS accepted my credit card payment, even for my first visit, and the office has always submitted my payment info to Humana right away. Dr. B. has given me RX's for my chronic pain from Degenerative Disc Disease, severe arthritis and pinched nerves, but he is very particular in not over-prescribing meds, so SOME people don't like him for that reason. He is NOT like other pain clinics, he is a member of the Board at Waterman hospital. Dr. B does have an odd personality that not everyone understands, so sometimes it costs him ratings on reviews. I also have to say I have never waited more than 5 minutes in the lobby (really), and no more than 15 minutes in the room. Dr. B has always spent time with me reviewing my chart and discussing options for my chronic and worsening condition, and most recently referred me to a new Rheumatologist to get their opinion. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars is due to his prices, I pay $133 every 4-6 weeks, BY CREDIT CARD I might add.
