Green Acres Pet Center Inc

My thirteen year old, six pound chihuahua is alive and running around happily today BECAUSE of the care received by ALL who work at Green Acres Pet Center, housed on the property along with The Country Kennel Pet Boarding place. Don't get it twisted, lol. They're both on site.

Despite her having a Sorento collar, my pup was close to devoured by what are known as "Super Ticks" found on Long Island, NY's Suffolk County, near The Hamptons.
They close to drained her. By the time we returned to Maryland, after a few weeks of vacationing, my dog's blood cell count was 16. She was close to gone. What followed were all of the worst symptoms of Lyme disease.

Not on Dr. Sharon's watch!

It took weeks, months
I spent the entire summer 2022, making the hour long trip from the MD, PA border to Mt. Airy with the most excellent results.

They worked with my dwindling budget, which I am ever so grateful for. This is not something that is normal for businesses, especially during a recession. They need to get paid too, but they allowed me to pay down my small fees when I was short to ensure that my baby would not go without her much needed meds.

I'll forever be grateful to this place, these compassionate, experienced, gifted folks working the front desk and especially to my puppy's Dr. Sharon K, who did not stop, did not give up, found the source, stopped it in its track and got my puppy well again.

We now have breathing and neurological issues, but we take it one day at a time.

With this team backing me up, and their golden exceptional care, I know they're going to squeeze every moment of happiness from the Universe to give to My Tiny Girl.
