Dr. Dona completed his undergraduate studies in kinesiology at the University of Maryland in College Park before earning his medical degree at the University of the East College of Medicine in Manila, Philippines. He went on to complete an internal medicine internship at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois, where Dr. Dona then finished his residency training in physical medicine and rehabilitation. He later pursued additional specialty training through a sports medicine fellowship at Atlantic Sports Health in Morristown, New Jersey, which is affiliated with Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University. He worked with Seton Hall University athletics, New Jersey City University athletics, and the New York Jets. Dr. Dona has also provided medical tent coverage at the Chicago and New York City marathons.

Carpal Tunnel Syndrome
Wrist pain can result from a fall onto an outstretched hand or a condition that develops over time, like carpal tunnel, though due to the location of the wrist and its use in everyday tasks, pain associated with the wrist can be felt throughout the hand and forearm. Treatments for wrist pain also vary, from nonsurgical care to minimally invasive wrist surgery.

Ultrasound
Dr. Wendel is an expert diagnostician and utilizes in-office electrodiagnostics (EMG/NCS) and diagnostic ultrasound when necessary in addition to standard diagnostic tests. To help with pain relief and to aid patients in the recovery process, he uses a wide variety of treatment options, such as therapeutic exercise, natural supplements, medications, bracing, and injections. He performs most peripheral injections with the use of ultrasound guidance and uses fluoroscopy (X-ray) for spine injections to assist in the precise placement of medication for improved safety and efficacy. Dr. Forbes completed his undergraduate degree in biology at Central Michigan University in Mount Pleasant, Michigan. He then earned his medical degree at Michigan State University College of Human Medicine in East Lansing and Grand Rapids, Michigan. Dr. Epstein then completed a second fellowship at the Institute for Foot and Ankle Reconstruction at Mercy Medical Center with Dr. Mark Myerson, a world-renowned foot and ankle surgeon. While at the institute, Dr. Epstein’s training focused on the treatment of sports-related foot and ankle injuries, ligament repair/reconstruction, cartilage restoration, and arthroscopic and endoscopic procedures of the foot and ankle as well as ankle replacement surgery.
