Mooresville Intermediate School serves students in grades three through six. Located in Mooresville, N.C., the school offers a wide range of special programs, such as accelerated reader, before- and after- school program, character education, drug awareness resistance education and the Parent, Teacher, Student Association. Mooresville Intermediate School has a club called Kids In Nature's Defense that serves more than 100 students and follows the work of the Humane Society and the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. Its club s students perform service projects to help local animals and organizations. Additionally, Mooresville Intermediate School has a book club that offers books of various genres, such as adventures, mysteries, realistic, science and historical fictions and fantasies. The school is a part of the Mooresville Graded School District.
