The service was good, that's what the one star is for. The bruschetta wasn't bad. However, being Italian myself- good bread is easy to make. The lasagna was horrendous, do not order it! My rule of thumb when trying a new Italian restaurant is to order the lasagna or spaghetti my first time there ( these are Italian restaurant staples that should always be consistent and delicious- not the case here). The meat looked old (gray in color), the sauce was dark red and tasted like canned pizza sauce and the ricotta cheese (if that's what it even was) was dried up and tasted chalky. After a few bites of choking down my dinner and trying to acquire a taste for it, I cut into the middle and it spread perfectly apart down the center. I realized my "big hunk of lasagna " was two separate pieces put together, covered with cheese and sauce to hide it. My guess is frozen, topped with cheese and sauce and then reheated. Thus the poor melding of ingredients. That was just my meal... My husband ordered shrimp alfredo with catfish. The alfredo sauce had an ok taste, but it was so watered down it made the fish and vegetables soggy. Aside from that, we have both had enough seafood in our lives to know that the fish was tilapia, not cat fish. The shrimp was the size of a quarter and chewy- again, probably frozen and warmed up. When we asked for a to-go box, we put the rest of the bruschetta (the only edible part of our meal) in the box and pushed our dinner plates to the edge of the table. She asked if we wanted boxes for our barely touched dinners, to which we declined. No questions as to if something was wrong or why we each just took a few bites and had full plates for the most part. Will not be returning.

Had lunch at this place today. It was very good. I had the lasagna and it tasted fresh and was a good size portion, I couldn't eat it all. The bread was hot and fresh. My coworker had the shrimp alfredo and she said it was very good as well. Good food, good prices without the noise of big Italian food chain restaurants. Also had the tiramisu, was excellent!! Big portion, had to share it with my coworker. Service was excellent.
