Minturn Country Club

My favorite restaurant in all of the Vail Vally. Every year our family goes skiing in Vail and we always eat at the Country Club at least once on our visit. The steaks are delicious and we get to cook it our selves. There are two large grills that you cook your steak on. We have a great time and we always meet new people around the grill. The salad bar is so, so, but that is not the high light for us. Service? Well that is top, notch. My wife and I had a wonderful glass of wine from the wines list, while the kids enjoyed some soft drinks. The atmosphere is spectacular, with the many golfing pictures and steak house charm. Dessert was excellent. For the table we ordered a lava-cake, and some bread-puding. Those desserts were new since last time and we decided to give them a try. But our families favorite is the Minturn Tator. It is cookies n' creme rolled in coco powder to make it have the aperance of a potato.
