Mineral Wells Vet Clinic

i've taken my sweet 120 pound rottie to a big vet clinic the 1st 12 years of her life... they all knew her- but you never knew which vet you'd see and in the end- the commercial side pushed too much for more money. this past year, my rottie's 13 year- had been hard on her. lots of joint pain and lacking her mobility. because i couldn't lift her on my own, i couldn't get her to the commercial vets office. she was running out of her arthritis meds, i asked the commercial vet to refill her pills (which weren't street drugs by any means) they refused since i hadn't brought my dog for her yearly shots/check-up (which ran me about $130)! i said fine, send someone for a house call... even though we live only 8 blocks from the office- they refused to do house calls... my dog was in pain and i had to do something! I started calling around- i discovered that Dr. Elliott was the only vet i could find who was willing to do house calls! even though from time to time i had to drive 30 minutes to get to her office- it was well worth it! once she met my 13 year old dog, she took such good care of her... and when the time came- when i had to put my dog down, my family and i drove out to her office. Dr. Elliott was so kind and never once rushed the process. when it was all over we were all crying... me, my family and even Dr. Elliott and her staff... my dog was a wonderful friend and will be sorely missed... but we are so very grateful we had the chance to meet this wonderful vet!!
