I absolutely LOVE Two Mothers Sewing and Tailoring. Mary is such a kind and loving spirit. When I left my wedding dress with her I had no doubts that it would turn out well and when I picked it up 6 weeks later it was stunning. The dress had to be taken in significantly everywhere and she made it fit like it was custom made for me. The reviews here do not lie! Mary is amazing and worth every penny! My best friend even wants Two Mothers to complete her wedding alterations when she gets married.

Mary is amazing to work with! I found her a year ago, while she was doing tailoring through Burlington Coat Factory. She altered my fiancé’s suit last year for our engagement picture and she just completed my wedding dress; sewn to perfection! I can’t wait to be able to wear in on my big day in a couple weeks. Her personality is wonderful and makes you feel so comfortable working with her. I will definitely be recommending her everyone I know who may be in need of her services.

I went to Mary from a recommendation from a friend who had her wedding dress altered by her. I'm so glad I went to Mary! She is an amazing seamstress and is so nice. I only had one fitting and although it didn't fit exactly right at first, she knew exactly what to do to make it fit perfectly. She added extra boning and altered the dress right there during the appointment until it fit perfect. It was great that she made small updates so that I could try it on again there and not have to keep coming back. She did a wonderful job on my dress which I thought would have been very challenging to take in and alter given my dress had a ton of beading every where. She is also very reasonably priced and finished exactly when she said she would. I highly recommend! I know I'll be coming back if I need anything else altered!

Mary is a true artist. She made my wedding dress for likey a glove. One fitting and all done. I would highly recommend her for any fittings you may need.

I went to Mary because she received such good reviews online. The reviews did not lie. I took my wedding dress and the dress I wore for the reception to her. The reception dress needed to be taken in at the top . She did a wonderful job on both dresses and they fit perfectly when I came back to try them after being altered. I highly recommend her services...reasonable prices and she is fantastic to work with. She really is the best tailor!

Mary did the alterations to my wedding dress and you would never know anyone touched the dress! My dress is full of beading and has multiple materials and Mary handled it like the pro she is! It came out perfect and right on the day she said it would be ready. Very reasonably priced also! To top it off, Mary is so friendly and easy to work with!

I had my dress made overseas but unfortunately there were some miscommunications on the measurements. It was too late to send it back to my aunt in the Philippines so my husband found Two Mothers Sewing online.

Mary was not only the first seamstress that could get me in on short notice, she's a total sweetheart! I instantly felt assured and calm that the dress could be fixed. The bust was resized and reshaped, a beautiful bustle added and the length shorted (on a quite ruffle-ly skirt).



The dress was ready at the exact day and time Mary said it would be and even though she said this might be the first fitting, it fit like a glove so there was no need for me to return.



I'm so very happy I found this place and will be taking all of my tailoring needs here from now on!

Mary did such an incredible job altering my wedding dress. It fits perfectly! She was very reasonably priced and the appointments took practically no time at all.

Mary is amazing! She did alternation on my wedding dress that was 2 sizes bigger and very complicated. I liked her work very much. She is very professional and caring. The price she charged was very reasonable. I would highly recommend her for any other alterations.

I can't begin to tell you how fantastic Mary is. She did an amazing alteration on a bridesmaid's dress I had thought that no one could alter. It had a very complicated design (think wedding dress complicated) and several people had told me there was no way to alter it. Mary simply had me try on the dress, spoke to me about some options she thought would "save" the dress in time for the wedding & put a few pins in the dress to mark where the alterations would be done size-wise. That was it! A few days later, I picked up a dress that looked great and fit me perfectly.

Not only is Mary very talented and hard working she is incredibly nice. I've never had such a positive experience with a tailor or seamstress as I did with Two Mothers Sewing and Tailoring.

There is no question in my mind. Two Mothers is the place I will take any garments I need altered or repaired.

I had the most plesant experience today, and I would like to share my story! I have to say right away in this review that these individuals are VERY PROFESSIONAL, TALENTED, AND CARING...they do SPECTACULAR WORK! I brought my wedding dress in to be altered to the Two Mothers Sewing and Tailoring company. At first I was nervous about anyone cutting into my dress but that feeling quickly went away when I was greeted at the door with a big smile. This individual who worked on my dress was very knowledgable, attentive, caring, and made me feel like I was the most beautiful bride in the world!! I knew I went to the right place for my wedding dress alterations. Today I went in to try my dress on and it fits PERFECTLY! :) I couldn't be happier!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY!! This company is by far at the top of my list in recommendations, in that others can have as great of an experience as I had. I am a very happy bride thanks to Two Mothers!!! I hope they read this so I can thank them again...THANK YOU!

I scheduled an appointment for Sat at noon. By 12:30, the shop was still not open & nobody was answering the phone. On my FIFTH phone call someone FINALLY answered with "Hello". Once I was able to clarify it was the tailor shop, she informed me she forgot about the appt & was "running late". She said she'd be there "around 1". I told her I couldn't wait that long since I had my 1 year old with me & had already been waiting 30 min. She said "ok" & hung up. NO APOLOGY OR ANYTHING. Let me also say, I let my phone # when I made the appt a week ago. Would've been nice to receive a call letting me know she'd be AN HOUR LATE!!!!!! TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!

I had a business suit altered here, and they did such a great job, I decided to have them alter my wedding dress as well. The prices were very reasonable and the work was gorgeous! She did an amazing job in a timely manner. I never had to stress out about whether I would have my dress done well or on time. I absolutely recommend this business for all your tailoring needs!

Excellent tailoring! I'm short and am also proportionally rather top heavy, and as a result needed to order a bridesmaid dress that needed extensive altering in the bodice as well as length- on a dress design that was fairly ornate. The initial fitting went very quickly and turnaround time was outstanding. I received flawless results for a very reasonable price- and incredibly friendly and personable service!

Mary is awesome! I found a dress that I loved, but it was 2 sizes too big for me. Mary was able to tailor the dress to fit me perfectly! Prior to me finding her, i went to another place. I told the guy how i wanted it tailored, he told he couldn't do it. I let him proceed with the measurements or whatever, and after he told me the price, my mouth just dropped! He was asking for soo much but i didn't feel confident in his work.

Then i found Mary! She knows what she is doing! She is so personable, with lots of experience! She's designing her own wedding dresses/ dresses and i hope to see her designs in stores soon!

Mary is great!! I had my wedding dress altered and my nieces bridesmaid dress altered. They both turned out perfect. My nieces dress was almost a size too big and she made it fit her like a glove!!! All the way home my niece kept saying I can't believe this is the same dress, I can't believe it fits this good!! I'm very happy with everything, I will definitely go back for any of my altering needs!!

Mary is really wonderful. She tailored a jacket my daughter received as a Christmas present. We were expecting to pay much more than she charged, and she did an amazing job. It was not an easy alteration, but she made it look easy! She is very personable and friendly. I would highly recommend her for any alterations.
