i use to tan at Apollo in Brown Deer, they are not there anymore, I tan here now with the same results as my previous salon so I would recommend.

Well I do know the owner, but I will stay impartial and just tell it like it is,as an advertising executive I know 90% of people who write a bad review are people who couldn't get there own way, have a personal grudge against the place. The average person who doesn't like a business simply do not waste there time any longer and do not go back and stop thinking about the place. If you think about a place where you had bad service from a waiter or waitress right now, did you waste weeks of your life writing bad review after bad review? Did you let this fixate on your life? Your answer should probably be no right now because most people do not do this. As far as Dawn's review, I will let this speak for its self....she would drive by two to three times a day and repeatedly call, anyone else see something wrong with this review and person....

Well I do not know the owner or this Scott person and I don't need to, to know that you have some issues. Who cares lady, if you don't like something it is called go to another tanning salon, it is that simple! What did you guys date or something and he wont call you back? I can see why! why would you waste your time by keep posting on here, do you have a life? I like it here, I live right down the road, there always open when I come and I usually make an appointment or I call to see if something is available, that way I do not have to get upset if there is not. And are you smart enough to realize that all you are doing by going on here being immature is sparking people to go on here to review it because they like this salon and do not want you messing with it! So you are indirectly helping the owner get positive reviews

Ok, this Danny person is clearly a friend of the owner Scott.. I've been a customer of Wauwatosa Tan for 7 years I have no reason to post thing that are not true.. If anyone would like to see the thread of text messages please contact me, I would be more than glad to show you.. I would go to the tanning salon 2 times in a day if not 3 yes I called him because his hours were not posted on the door or would say he would be open and he wasn't. if you read the previous reviews im not the only person that would waste their time going and he was closed he always had an excuse or lie and say hes there and wasn't he also told me he made 6 figures and didn't need my $23.00 a month for tanning... He also stated he has a degree in Business, well im here to tell you your money for education that you paid was a waste because clearly thats one of the first things they teach you is to have stable hours and customer service is the most important thing when running a business... So he basically told me he didn't need my $23.00 a month??????? He would tell me he wasn't open because he would be plowing snow or its to hot outside and thatswhy he wasn't open... Again don't waste your time or money with WAUWATOSA TAN, HE'S RUDE AND CLEARLY A LIAR........

I love this place! I love going to Wauwatosa Tan, Radio Shack, Speedway, the local theaters and bakery's! I got a kick out of reading here that people are upset over not getting a walk in appointment whenever they want one. I moved from Green Bay where it was by appointment only. They are boo hooing over going there at nine and they didn't open till ten, I went there and it had a sign on the door back in ten mins. Its called make an appointment people, it is the same thing if you went to your hair stylist without calling and went in there and they were booked or closed, I am sure you would right a bad review about them too! Believe it or not local shops are not big chain stores that are open 24hrs. It is called make an appointment, or call to see if they are open, if they are not open, then go somewhere else, it is that simple! I never had a problem here, I like to keep my business local and away from big box stores and I don't get upset if a place is not open, I know that hour's reflect business flow plus I know the world doesn't revolve around me. If I come here on a Saturday at midnight and there closed I don't get upset an wright a bad review, I go home and come back the next day to tan. The only difference is I realize that if they stayed open until I decided to tan they would have to do this for everybody and then would be 24hrs. Go out and shop, and be positive and it will reflect on everything!

Was here to tan today and talking with the owner about dawn, everything she said in her review is a lie, he showed me the entire text message thread on his phone. He kept it professional and she called him every name in the book along with profanity. I told him his first mistake was giving a problem customer his number in the first place. Anyone who wants to ask him to show you, he has no problem doing so, its kind of funny, this customer is either a little off or had a bad day or someone ran over her dog. My advice to the owner after reading everything on his phone was to call the Wauwatosa Police department and call his lawyer and file a slander suit against this irate women. Hopefully he listens to me

Reasonably priced, good results, and is close to where I live

This salon is nothing more than a joke... You leave your house to go tan during normal business hours, to find the salon closed. The owner Scott doesn't answer the phone personal or business phone... I was paying every month via credit card then he tells me he cant afford the credit card services I have to pay cash??????? I've been going there for years never had this problem with the previous owners NEVER!!!! Don't waste your money or time with this clown... I tanned once the month of Jan 2014, he will not give me my money back or the difference, I was told, its a bad economy.. So i will not be getting my money back.... JOKE JOKE JOKE

I laugh so hard on how people operate there life's. I am the owner of Wauwatosa Tan, and supposedly the one who is so rude. Mrs. Whetter came in and was very rude to me, but despite this I tried to be very accommodating, she had bought a tanning package for her daughter and wanted to share her package with her. I explained that it is strict company policy that we do not do that. She said but who cares she paid for it, I told her if you bought your daughter a gym membership you can't go there and workout under her account. She then proceeded to complain about the hours, I told her the hours are posted on the door right in front of your face as you walk in the door. DESPITE all of this I told her even thou like most salon's there sessions are only good for six months I would extend her daughter's sessions to never expire and while she (the mother) was there I would let her tan for free. If this is not friendly and rude then I don't know how much better I can bend over backwards for her. What it boils down to is in retail, when a customer doesn't get there exact way they pout and try to ruin a businesses reputation. The fact is Mrs. Whetter that we hardly get any business based off reviews, 95% of our business like most businesses is from word of mouth. And to the review below her's, we have more then 4 tanning beds, and there is never a long wait, and our prices start off at $7 to $10 for a single session, so how are we way over priced? The majority of people that come in here can't believe on how reasonable priced we are and with the good results they get, so I suggest you go out and sample other salons before you bad mouth us, and bring back any literature that you may find in the city and I will price match them. In retail you get what you pay for and out of our thousands of customers the ones that are happy you won't hear a peep out of them because they are happy! But the one out of a thousand that can't get there way try to write bad reviews and bad mouth you. We will take with a grain of salt the one bad apple out of the bunch and continue to strive to keep our thousands and thousands of customers happy. Do not take my word for it, go out in the community and ask about us, everyone knows our name and from what thousands of customers tell me we do have a very good rep. out there and we will continue to provide good tanning results at reasonable prices. The owner is not friendly and rude. It is expensive and never opened. I went there 5 times and it was opened only 3 of the times. I used the hours on the web site but that was not accurate.

The good thing about this place is that they have the infrared thera sauna which I love!!! but they are getting to be very pricey! and also the staff is somewhat rude they arent friendly. and they only have like 4 tanning beds so theres always a long wait. Honestly for tanning I would not recommend this place but for the sauna I would.

I am a friend of carebear and lmao yes we really call her that. She recommended me to this place and I love it! I made my husband come and he likes that it is a mix of both male and female employees. He is more pasty then I am lol and he has to wait until I am done and he is in there like he is hanging out with his boys. I am glad there is a nice clean friendly tanning salon not only in tosa but in my neighborhood that we are both comfertable going to since I only live a block away. Plus amazing tanning results!

Every employee there is friendly, super knowledgeable and there services get you tan fast. I have already recommended this place to my family and co workers!

Some people.....who would leave there kid? If tanning is that important then get a babysitter! Would you leave your kid in a restaurant unitended while you went purse shopping? Ummm ya I am guessing you would, and when your kid comes up missing your not the bad mother but the restuarant is to blame, I can see it now... your kid is missing so wright a bad review! My Husband and I have been tanning there for years and as we would never bring our kids in there to be left alone while not attended to by one of its parents, I have found everyone in there to freindly and knowledgable, and if you ask anywhere in tosa about this place they have a very good reputation. Some people are just immature and want to write a bad review because simply put couldn't get there way...grow up!

The funny thing is catherine still tans there, just seen her march 2011, and its a tanning salon not a day care.

I agree with the previous review. I know exactly which employee she is talking about. This salon is on my way home from work and I occassionally stop in and each time, I have had the same male employee and he has always been nothing but rude to me. I refuse to go back to this salon until they get rid of him. I will drive the extra miles and tan elsewhere.

Yes, it’s OK to bring your children to our salon and while you relax and enjoy your tanning session, your children are kept busy playing, reading books or watching TV. We do ask that your children are cooperative with our staff. Should they become disruptive we will ask that you leave them at home with someone in the future.



okay this is from another salon I looked up.

I went to this salon to check it out.... it was on my way home from work and picking up my 9 yr old daughter from school.... first time there - they open at 10 on a Sat- the owner was late and seemed preturbed that there was 6 people waiting to come in. The first girl to go in had an appointment at 10 and he seemed like whatever when she told him...knowing he was late.... they dont have the matrix... the stand up (which I like to do) didn't have music... so you are basically standing there with nothing to do but stand.....did not bring my daughter that time, but did not see any postings where I couldn't bring her....2nd time there on my way home from work and pickin up my 9 yr old daughter from school was told "just so you know anyone under 16 is NOT allowed in the salon, but would let her this one time" I was like what??? I never heard that.... he said it was the LAW... okay if its the law why are you letting her be there to wait for me this one time???? I told him I never heard of this law... and told him its not a law! He said I could take it up with his boss... which then I said I would... and his response was he will be here by the time you get out.... cool..... did my session (I paid for 5!) got out and there was the owner.... first thing he says to me! - why are you giving my employee a hard time! - (no he didnt!) I explained to him I have been to many salons and have NEVER been told of this LAW! He then tried to explain that anyone 11 yrs or younger are not allowed without supervision ( the employee told me 16 or younger not allowed no exeptions) told him that and he stated it was their policy..... sorry but they are going to loose business with this attitude - needless to say I will take my losses and never go there again! I will have to drive that extra couple of miles and go to where I use to go (GloW) disappointed, was hoping this would be a cool place, being a new tanning salon, but I will not recomend this place to anyone....

I love I Tan. I never really made time to go tanning. I drove past one day and seen the specials and had to stop in. I have been going 3 times a week now ever since. I love the choices of beds. Each time I go I am not subject to the same beds. I also love the prices on theirproducts. I hae purchased several bottles while going there. People compliment my tan and I always recommend I Tan.



The employees are very sweet and very friendly. I tell everyone about I Tan!!!!!

I am a college student and I Tan offers extremely reasonable prices! They always have specials and discounts on tanning packages and tannnig lotions, their prices are affordable to everybody. I have been to many different tanning salons and by far I Tan in the best!! I Tan salon has the most friendly workers, they talk to you and make you feel extremely comfortable!! I am a faithful customer to I Tan salon and would recommend it to everybody, I truly feel it is the best tanning salon in town. They offer a variaty of beds and services like nails, waxing and perminate makeup!!! They also offer a wide variaty of tanning lotions at extremely reasonable prices!! Next time you want to go tanning take my advice and go to I Tan salon, you wont be disapointed!!!!

I recently started tanning at I Tan, and was very pleased with the service. I Tan has a very different setting than most tanning salons, somewhat chic and comfortable. The girl that I spoke to was very helpful and informative with what products would be best for me, and they even gave me $10 off just for being a new customer! Recently they've also added waxing and nails to their list of services, which is great because it's becoming a one stop get everything done type of place. After reading the previous reviews, I was very surprised at what they had said and momentarily thought that I was looking at the wrong business, but I wasn't. I believe it as possible that these were made by loyal customers or employees of the previous owner? It seemed that way to me, but either way I highly recommend this tanning salon to anyone who enjoys tanning!
