Dr. Massaro started his medical journey at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago, IL. Focusing on ophthalmology, the medicine of the eye, he continued his education with a residency, internship, and fellowship at the Medical College of Wisconsin – Eye Institute. Cataracts
Cataract removal, LASIK, and other eye surgeries can sometimes cause ptosis, a condition where the eyelid droops. Botox® is a prescription medicine which is injected into facial muscles to temporarily reduce crow’s feet and frown lines between the eyebrows. This procedure is most effective on wrinkles which haven’t set yet. These types of wrinkles typically appear only when you make facial gestures—such as smiling or frowning.
