Harbor Pointe Apartments

This place is ok...I live in Glenbrook apts...which is still apart of Harbor Pointe just under a different name. I have to say this building is pretty nice...just don't like seeing bugs...but that is normal for any place( its the normal like spiders, etc). I especially like how quiet this building is but from time to time you hear kids running around, but like I said before that's very common anywhere. One thing I don't like is the fact we pay for everything except the heat. I do like having underground parking, I feel a little safer coming in and out of the building. You're going to have problems everywhere you go, whether its a small or big problem...it will always be something. I say look into it and really see if you like this place...but I would recommend the glenbrook apts over harbor pointe any day...this side of the area is quiet.

This is not a professional place to do business with, yet alone live. A leasing agent that lies and for a woman has a mouth of a drunken sailor. Very unprofessional. Nothing but problems with the mechanics of the apartments and not to mention the fact of the Secuity. Security patrols are more like, Security and Leasing Agent getting it on it the office and empty apartments. Leasing Agent wont help with backing up promises but will help Security Man with unzippering and zippering his pants in the office. Security man is mean and a wanna be cop in his leather jacket and mean tone. Only nice when leasing agent is inviting him in office. I dont get it. Where else can I complain. I have talked with other tennants and they see this unprofessional display of affairs going on. I cannot wait to get out of this lease.

I would never recommend these apartments to anyone.

Where should I start? How about there was over 7 car break-ins’ in one night. This is in our “Safe underground parking” LOL! I have had a light out right at my front door for over 3 weeks. I have called maintenance and even spoke with someone about coming out. Need I say no one ever showed up! How would you feel going up to your door at night, with no light and can’t see around your corner? Anyone could come up and crack you in your head and rob you. Oh, and yes that goes on around here. If you do choose to sign a lease at Harbor Pointe, evidently you don’t have the common sense God gave a dog. If I would have read these reviews, I would have never lived here.

This place is very unsafe to live in. There is no security and I fear for mine and my kids safety. Since I have lived here (it's only been 3 months)I have been swore at by teenagers more times than I can count. I get balls thrown at me windows on almost a daily basis. I hear kids screaming and swearing all night long. The kids take the bottles out of the recycling bins and throw then all over the place I have gotten beer bottles smashed on my driveway and front lawn. Went I take my kids outside to play we get harassed. These kids have throw snappers at my girls feet and one kid hit my 20 month old in the head with his bike. After I threatened to sue Harbor Point did they finally start to do something about this problem. But that's not even the half of it we just found out there has been a rape and an assault in or near the buildings and there is always cars getting broken into. We are new to the area and made the mistake of moving to Harbor Point don't make the same mistake we did find some place nice to live.
