Don Paella Catering

Had Don paella cater a small birthday party (20 people) a few weeks ago, I was eager to cater paella again since I had a wonderful experience in another occasion involving around 50 people, my error was to think these were the same company as the one used on prior engagement. Anyways, the paella was way too salty and oily, when the cook asked my husband how he liked it and he let him know he felt it was too salty the cook let him know that everyone has different tastes for saltiness and there's nothing to be done about that, which is true, and all well if he hadn't really made it so salty!! His error I felt might have been adding salt plus the juice of the olives, and I guess more salt, and all the other seasoning and BOY was it oily!!. When he asked me how I felt about it, being my birthday and in no mood to ruin the night I simply answered with it was ok, which I don't think he liked hearing based on his expression.. Anyways I know none of my guests felt it was good they ALL (being close friends/family) complained it was poorly seasoned and some even said it was hard to swallow. Anyways there was about 3 gallons of food leftover everyone kept giving me recommendations on how to fix it, adding more rice, hot sauce, and what not. All in all I guess it's really a hit or miss with these guys and the cook you get. Good luck!

Don Paella catered my daughter's Quince (Sweet Fifteen) in Delray Beach, FL. We had over 200 guest dinner was served buffet style. We had the roast pork, congri, and pallea valenciana. The food was delicious better than expected! The staff was courteous and extremely helpful. They also provided a bartender that did an amazing job. They cooked up a Valenciana paella with seafood instead of chicken at my wedding on south beach in January 2011 at the Betsy Hotel Roof Deck. The food, the guys, the whole experience was awesome. I ordered for 70 persons and they made enough for over 100 persons at a fabulous price. You can also bring your own seafood to add which we did, I give them the highest possible recommendation....and don't forget the tostones, they are awesome!

Everything was perfect, more than we expect, service, delivery, friendly, as promise, delicious. The party was at home, around 60 people with kids and we were are please and good comments all around. Of course we recommended !!!!! Thank you Don Paella, especially Youry for all your promt response and make possible my Mom's b-day party with your execellent service.

If you haven't use Don Paella for a party, you really should. They made our wedding more fun, all my guest loved the food. All appetizer were delicious, we should have ordered more.. :) thanksss

I love Spanish food and been to many Spanish restaurants in South FL and I have to say that the Paella they cooked at my son's graduation party was one of the best I've had. I recommend them to anyone
