Brow Obsession by Anarkali

i have been coming here for many years. Tania and nibeela shape beautifully. They don't only give everyone the same shape, they customize a shape that will compliment your features. If you are skeptical about trying threading, definitely come here they know what they are doing!

Love this place! Amazing at eyebrows. I go to the aventura location. Go to Nibeela or Tania. They are the best at what they do!

Refuse to go back!!!! My first experience here at this salon I noticed that everyone was waiting for the two ladies in the first two chairs, an older lady that looks middle eastern but spoke fluent Spanish and English and a young Caucasian girl. The third chair was another younger girl I believe her name was Farrah. The first time Farrah did my brows I was not happy with the ending result so I paid my $10 and left. I am the type of person to give places a second chance, so I went back again. This time I requested the older lady in the first chair to do my brows. After watching her do eyebrows for countless Caucasian and Spanish women it was finally my turn.



They called my name to sit in her chair, first she walked off on me and got on the phone so I waited patiently, then when she was finished with her conversation she came over to me and gave me one look asked “what I was here to get done today?” and when I told her eyebrows she replied " I don’t do eyebrows"



I was baffled and appalled, because I came to an EYEBROW threading salon and she is telling me that she does not do eyebrows even after I just sat there and watched her do countless brows for the Caucasian and Spanish women right before I sat in her chair.



She then walks over to the girl at the front desk and whispers something to her and she giggles and then directs me to the third chair of the girl who messed up my brows the first time.



Not only did she mess up my brows for a second time, they charged me $12 dollars when the price for this service is $10. If you are African American I do not recommend going to this salon because she will refuse you service. Very sad to say because I thought we were past this in America. Also because she is not Caucasian, she is a minority herself and would not like it if TSA randomly decided to do cavity search on her every time she flies back to her homeland.



I will be writing a complaint to the BBB.

My friend referred me here and i am so Happy she did! I walked into the salon and was immediately greeted by a very nice young man. The salon is clean and professional. I had a great experience down to the perfect arch that Nibeela, the owner, gave me. Im very happy and highly recommend Anarkali. I have not tried anyone else but I heard everyone is pretty good.. definitely see Nibeela or her daughter if possible though they are the best!
