In general, I found this practice to be unknowledgeable, unreliable, unorganized, and unconcerned with detail. I had been mixed up with my father and told that I had extremely high blood pressure and was in need of medication. Fortunately, I found this hard to believe and was aware of my father’s problem, so I was able to point out the mistake. They had misplaced the results of a pap smear I had there and only realized this when I corrected them that I had been there a year earlier for a pap. When they found the results, it showed abnormalities that required another procedure and eventually surgery. So, I had this problem for one year and had no idea. They informed me very nonchalantly and seemed unconcerned and unapologetic. At this time I decided to visit a gyno. This gyno had diagnosed an infection during a pap, I was treated for it, and the symptoms disappeared in one week. This same infection was misdiagnosed at Prime Care, so I suffered from it for a few months because I was being treated for something entirely different. Because the symptoms persisted, Prime Care suggested I have some tests done to determine the problem, including an HIV test, which obviously upset and scared me. All this was for nothing because it was a different infection. After deciding to never return to Prime Care, I had called and left a message three times asking for my medical records to be released. I never received a return call or my medical records. These circumstances caused an unnecessary amount of stress, and I will never return to Prime Care or recommend them to anyone.
