Horrible Place!



We had made a purchase on 06-03-2015 at 1755 W. Main Street Mesa AZ 85201 through drive through. We had to remind the cashier that we had drinks she had forgotten to give them to us, I ordered 17 tacos and drove home. When I got home we were only given 12 tacos. My husband called and confirmed if it was okay we go back and get the rest of our order since we were not given the order complete the person on the phone said sure no problem come back. We drove all the way back the cashier at the front window called me a liar once she said that to me I asked for her name and her managers name. She would not give me any information. She informed me that since she was not there during the transaction that I was not telling the truth. I was embarrassed and shocked with the attitude and customer service that I received at this location. I told her that is why we called before and now we don’t get our complete order, we don’t get our money back and we don’t get an apology for driving back only to get treated horribly. The issue was not resolved I had to leave my name and number and was told someone would call me.

My husband knew how much I liked fish tacos, so one day he surprised me with a couple of them he got from Filibertos. This was the first time I had ever eaten anything from this place, as I Ioved the fish tacos from Baja Fresh.

My food seemed OK, so I finished my meal. After awhile I went to bed, totally unaware of what I was about to face.

I didn't know how much time had passed before I suddenly woke up with terrible cramps in my guts & a strong urge to vomit. For the next 7 hours I was continuously throwing up in the sink at the same time I was losing more body fluids from running diarrhea.

My husband & I kept thinking that at some point this would all stop, but that never happened.

I was so weak from all of this activity that it became painful & difficult to even move. I finally surrendered & had my hubby call the EMS.

I was admitted to the hospital from the ER, where I spent 3 days for severe dehydration.

After I got home, I was told that the Health Dept. inspection was inconclusive. As a retired 30 year R.N., I knew that I could have become sick from something as simple as a worker not washing their hands after using the bathroom. Unfortunately, something like this is hard to prove. This was not a very recent event, but it certainly is hard to forget. We have never been back there, and recently when a cabbie was discussing restaurants with us, he was quite shocked to hear my experience.

I am not a negative person, but I feel I have to be honest.
