I have used them for over 30 years. I have never had to take anything back because there was a problem. They are a familly owned business with a very honest down to earth business sense. Their mechanics are all very well trained and experianced professionals. They only recommend the best products and go the extra mile to get you the best price. I recommend them to my familly and friends. I carry their card in my wallet so that I always have their information readilly available if anyone asks. Their business is so good that there is typically a 3 to 5 work day lead time to get in to see them but the peace of mind you get when you let them work on your car is worth it.

Macek's is one of those automotive places I would recomment to everyone. I found out about Macek when I ran into the owner in Alaska of all places! Upon coming back and asking about them, I was told about their honesty many times. I found it to be true when the car dealership I bought my car from told me I needed a very expensive repair of my engine and Macek said that it was just a hole in my oil filter that was spitting oil everywhere. Similar things happened two other times. Since then, I have always gone to them. Their repairs are cheaper and more honest then other places. They tell you the situation and let you decide, no pressure. The only problem is that it can take a while to get in. They are a small place with a good following.
